Tonight sees the retirement of a true Fordingbridge Fire Station legend after 35 years service. Firefighter Derek Jones its been a pleasure working with you & we will all miss having you on board.
30 years ago Fordingbridge attended a fire in a window frame caused by decorators stripping paint. The officer in charge that day was Derek Jones who tonight signed the annual station calls book for the last time as in 3 weeks time he retires after 35 years incredible service to the local community 🚒. We are all going to miss him.

A sad day as we say farewell to Crew Manager Steve White who is retiring after a fantastic 38 years service. We will miss him looking after us on shouts. Happy retirement Steve 👍
We have been to a large barn fire this afternoon along with colleagues from Wilts & Dorset FRS and Ringwood 🚒🚒🚒🚒
When parking up alongside the road just spare a thought as to if you have left enough room for us to get a fire engine through?? 🚒Normandy Way is pretty tight tonight due to the way cars are parked on either side of the road. We wouldn't want to be delayed getting to a 999 call & it's even more relevant at the moment with the road closure along Salisbury Street. Thankyou.

Our fire engine has returned to station today after a little face lift & is looking nice & shiny. It is also displaying the Immediate Emergency Care badge to highlight the new life saving equipment we now carry & are trained in to help make our own community a little bit safer.
