Fabulous news, we've just seen that the Bombers DC Morgan (Dressage) is now British Dressage Legal! Super news that this revolutionary bit which removes as much pressure from the horse's mouth as possible and allows the horse to set the mouthpiece where it is comfortable. Yesterday we hosted a bitting and moulding clinic with Caroline Powell Eventing, BAEDT Simon Prately and Bitting and Moulding Specialist Sue Gilliatt.

Visited the store for the first time last Monday, had a new body protector fitted. Service was fantastic, couldn't fault the lady that helped. Definitely would recommend and will be back to shop some more !! �

Just want to say a big thank you to Forelock & Load for supporting our Newmarket Quiz Evenings this year with vouchers as winning prizes for our Easter, Macmillan Evening and Christmas Quiz nights. All money raised from our quiz evenings goes mainly to Cancer charities. Our quiz evenings are open to anyone and if you'd like to come along, please PM me for a booking form with all the dates listed for the year. These evenings are held in Newmarket on a Friday evening. Very easy general knowledge questions, with competitions and raffle. I recently hired the Micklem bridle for my horse who can be quite sensitive and won't tolerate a flash. The service was exceptional. Kirstie allowed me to trial the Micklem bridle in 2 sizes over the 10 day period to ensure I found the perfect fit for my horse and was always on hand to offer lots of advice, even responding to an email and photos of my horse wearing one of the bridles whilst on holiday!

I ordered a stubben freedom bridle on trial from them. I placed the order on Friday at 15.45 and paid £10 for 48hr delivery. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to see it was being sent out on express delivery by 1pm, so received it Saturday morning! Not only that but I wasn’t sure if I had fitted it correctly so sent some pics over by email on Sunday eve expecting a reply sometime Monday, only to find Kirstie had replied immediately! Really impressed with the service so far, and the tube of polos in the box were a lovely little touch. Had not heard of this company before my search for this bridle but would definitely recommend.

I needed help with a Micklem bridle and new bit for our pony. Kirstie went out of her way to help me - she answered my emails promptly, spent time in the shop discussing options with me, sought further advice from a bit specialist on my behalf and then came out twice - to fit the bridle, then the bit & bridle. And all the while she was super busy. Really good service and I highly recommend :)

I have just had my dealings with this company when I was on the look out for a .243 rifle. The service given was second to none and the advice given came from many years experience- and not driven by sales figures. The staff were not just knowledgable, but very friendly too. I have no doubt that I will be buying from these guys again. Fantastic service!

I brought a new stubben dressage girth for my young horse as he was seeming a bit sensitive to girth this girth definitely helped him to relax and move more freely having ridden in the fair fax girths I'm really not a huge fan, I recently put this girth on my 18 yo advanced horse just as my other girth he usually has was on something different - wow what a difference in him! He suffers from tight shoulders as it is but I have noticed a huge difference in him just from riding in it this past week or two ! He went out this weekend first time in 3 years and got 67%from one judge at psg I am honestly thrilled!

I am currently dealing with Forelock & Load on an equestrian item. Their speed of response to an enquiry late one evening was phenomenal and very unexpected, the advice extremely helpful. When one size of bridle did not fit they have immediately sent in exchange the next size and I am very impressed so far. Excellent, personal service and a desire for the customer to leave with what they want. It feels more than just a sale.

Great shop and great staff. Only been there a couple of times and I have to say some of the if not the best customer service I've ever had. I've been there for my shooting needs and have gone away smiling. Keep up the good work guys
