Forensic Science At Cornwall College

Cornwall College offers a hands-on, authentic approach to studying Forensic Science.

BTEC Extended Diploma Applied Science (Forensics) provides an opportunity for learners of sixteen to nineteen years of age to learn transferable skills and gain a recognised qualification within the science sector. This qualification is equivalent to three A levels and can be used to gain entry to higher education, further training and employment.

Cornwall College Camborne has well-equipped laboratories, an analytical instrument room for accurate testing of samples, and a specially designed crime scene suite for authentic training and assessment. Cornwall College Camborne also offers Higher Education progression in Forensic Science, through FdSc Forensic Science (a two year course equivalent to HND) and BSc (Hons) courses with forensic and criminology units.
