Forest Holidays Thorpe Forest

My partner treated me to our trip for my birthday and I couldn't of asked for a better gift. The staff were so friendly, the cabin was so well equipped, clean and luxurious and we had the most fun. The only thing I would say could do with a little work was the walks that the site provide maps for. We got lost and ended up walking double to amount of time the route said because the route wasn't well signed. I would ask that maybe the signs in the forests could be made more clear, and for example if there is a sharp right turn to make that could be easily missed please make it very obvious! As being lost in the woods when its getting dark wasn't the best experience. However that said, that was such a minor part, our trip was amazing, so thank you!

One stay and never again! Security is REALLY POOR! Design of the cabin and parking invites crime. Our cars were vandalised and we experienced attempted bike theft on our stay. Forest Holidays lacklustre and delayed response says it all...THEY DONT CARE!

Even though we stayed in a Golden Oak cabin...it didn't feel like luxury, more like a Travelodge. Bath tap temperature was positively scorching with no facility to cool it down. Toilet flush was stiff. The 'amazing' playground was laughable.

Centre Parcs is a much better choice for accommodation, facilities, professionalism and security (& was £200 cheaper for the same weekend)

Loved it. Lovely place. Lots of things to do.

Lovely cabin and lots to do both on site and nearby - would be ideal for a larger group with a wide age range, but was great for a small family too. Breakfasts can be delivered, which are excellent; staples and COOK ready meals are available from the on site shop. A very peaceful site - really relaxing.

10 out of 10- very nice location friendly atmosphere, nice excursions around, it doesn't feel like United Kingdom in this one location. Bursting with exciting new things to do everyday. The hot tub was a plus +

Very peaceful lovely walks staff always very helpful and polite cabins very nice but cleanliness and maintenance can be a little bit missed at times but if mentioned staff sort out very quickly. Decking and outside of cabins needs deep cleaning hot tubs starting to look bit tired on the lids.

The Golden Oak Hideaway cabin was gorgeous, and obviously set in beautiful woodlands. Fun activities and I feel totally relaxed after my weekend away.

Peace and tranquility in the forest. We stayed in a silver birch cabin with a hot tub. Will happily holiday in the UK if all holidays were like this one.

So peaceful and quite. Not to many cabins. Lovely "chalets". Could easily live here permanently. The dog loved it. Lots of forest to walk in. Great if you want to do not very much but there are activities available. Would book with forest holidays again.
