Forest Lane Spring Festival 2018 - Winners
Congratulations to our winner Andy Nelson who finished with 3 section wins, and a total weight of 224lb 1oz over the 3 days. In second place Lee Hellawell again with 3 section wins and a total weight of 214lb 8oz, and in 3rd place Rob Minikin with 3 section wins and a total weight of 169lb 2oz. Well done lads.
A full write up will be available in a weeks time when I get chance. Can I just thank all the anglers who took part in the fe...stival and for turning up each day even though some did not have a chance of framing.
Thank you to Matt Goodall for your help during the festival and to Martin Bell it is appreciated.
A big shout out to the main sponsors SG Petch who provided a large sum of money and produced some special caps for the festival, thank you so much for your help.
Thank you to Eddie Gregory and Katherine Gregory for the use of their complex and providing quality food both in the morning and after the match. Without your help this festival would not take place, awesome hospitality as always.

... DUE TO a few last minute drop outs, and messing about, the pegging will not be decided until Thursday Evening. (I apologise for this, but I have had a few late pull outs and still have a couple waiting to pay their final balance), this will not happen next year, we will have a deadline in place, that will be adhered to as it causes too many issues and fries my brain lol.

What a cracking fishery. Lovely people lovely breakfast and the fishing tremendous. The fish are large and in perfect condition. Going back as soon as can but you need to ring first.

This has to be one of the top fisheries in the country, I have fished it countless times this year and it only gets better

Forest is a really great fishery , a really well run fishery thanks to eddy Gregory and his team recently appointed a Pallatrax associated fishery ,the expansion plans for the fishery will certainly make it the most sort after match venue in North Yorkshire !!!!

Fished the oaklands pool great plenty of fish to be caught great place

Fished Vale lake just opens to anglers , all small palm sized fish . but all anglers had over a hundred fish each .maggot n pellets

Fantastic venue with fantastic owners.

A great day out for match or pleasure fishing and Ur day starts with great food at the onsite cafe
