We have just celebrated our wedding at the Forest Of Arden and it was perfect from start to finish. Even the evening before we were looked after so well by Sogand in Cast Iron restaurant. The staff at the hotel (Stefan, Ella and team) were truly fantastic and made sure the day ran as smooth as possible. However this day could not of taken place without our amazing wedding coordinator Faye Knight, she made planning a wedding a true pleasure. For a truly perfect day ... I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat.

Was here for family wedding.Had a fantastic time .First class wedding venue,very professional staff couldn't do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one.First class room and nice breakfast in the morning.

Really lovely family mini break! Staff were all so friendly, the kids loved the pool and the room was perfect. We went to the bar for food on our last night and were greeted by a pancake chef (it was pancake day!) totally yummy and so was the other food. We will be back!

I am fortunate to say I have stayed at Forest of Arden and played both there course whilst on a trip with battle back golf the hotel was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff were very polite and helpful throughout my stay, not to mention how lovely both the courses were I will definitely be back to play and stay in the hotel as I felt very welcomed and calm throughout my visit top marks from me

Had our wedding at the hotel and all I can say is everything was amazing. The wedding coordinator sorted everything in the lead up to the wedding down to a T. The venue space was perfect, with quick change overs and the staff there were amazing, sorting everything from food and drinks to miner room mix ups. Phili on the front desk, Stacy (event manager) and Faye (wedding coordinator) were especially helpful always checking we had everything we needed and everyone was where they needed to be. Thank you. 5 stars is an understatement.

Had a great stay at the Marriott Forest of Arden with family & friends to see the new year in. We booked a New Year’s Eve gala package in the Arden suite and everything went so smoothly from check in to finish for our party. Check in was so organised and we were offered a welcome drink on arrival. The hotel was extremely busy throughout our stay but the service we received from everyone was fantastic. Light bites in the afternoon were amazing we all really enjoyed them and the NYE dinner dance was a fantastic evening with great food and entertainment throughout the night into the early hours. Breakfast was extremely busy on New Year’s Day but the hotel dealt with it very well again. Food was freshly cooked and service again fantastic. On check out we were offered bottles of water for our journey home which was a nice touch and as we left the hotel it was pouring with rain, Phillip the porter offered my hubby an umbrella and suggested he go and get the car and bring it up to the entrance for us.

A special thanks to Charlotte Eborall who organised our party booking for us and dealt with all our dietry and room requests. All was perfect. Rooms were lovely and everything we requested we got, so a big thank you for that. The gala dinner was such a great evening and our gluten free members of our party were well looked after. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, it is in a beautiful location. It’s just a shame we didn’t get time to use the leisure club or have a walk around the beautiful grounds because of the rain. We will have to visit again and take advantage of these facilities. Maybe returning next new year. Thanks again.

Had a fantastic weekend. Great food and hospitality. Nice room there were a few weddings but did not impose on us, in fact were quite intriguing to observe. Swimming pool area was also nice

Great weekend spa... Philip the Front of house man and Joe made the welcoming and stay brilliant have to say the beauty treatments and staff were brilliant too back in July it was that good.

First visit on Monday 19th Feb...One Word...Amazing! Hot chocolate and brownies on arrival. Bags carried to the room. Room spacious clean and warm. Night time stay was nice and quiet. Bed comfortable and plenty of pillows. Breakfast was on another level. Well catered for everyone apart from I didn't see any vegetarian options. Kids welcomed. Things for them to do and good choice of food to eat. Swimming pool was lovely and changing rooms were well catered for young children also. Definitely go there again. Thank you.

staff were outstanding, friendly and extremely helpful. food fantastic and worth every penny of our DBB deal. only suggestion is the should have more than 1 bedroom with walk in shower but otherwise, everyone left happy!

It's a very large hotel , we had booked a room with a view but all we could see were other rooms across a court yard , so we asked for a move which they did by taking us to another room this time we we're over the bay where the lorries delivered but you could see some trees

I have coming here for years now, i like the food and drinks, and relaxing atmosphere. Wen i was there yesterday in the lunch room next to the restaurant, it was so hot and uncomfortable i ask the people at the bar to put air-conditioning on and with a smile saying to me thay don't have one. With this weather we having i recommend to install one. ��

Beautiful location and comfortable room. Bit distracting having weddings going on when you're just trying to relax, have a quiet drink in the bar and watch the footie but inevitable I guess in a venue like this.

Ordered room service for the first time in my life for dinner last night and a bit surprised that the hot main course was delivered at the same time as the cold starter with no means of keeping it warm, so by the time we'd finished the starter the main was cold but compensated by the deduction of the cost of the wine off the bill. Would've preferred a hot dinner though!

The golf courses were beautiful, despite the recent weather. The championship course was in the best shape. Very True greens.

The hotel was mixed. Friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner. Room was very poor. No rooms have air conditioning, the windows are fixed on open only 2 inchese and the small fan provided was inadequate. After a very very hot sleepless night, I was glad I was only staying one night.

Stayed here for a 2 day business forum. As a Marriot member, I use this chain quite frequently and the high standards are consistent. It was therefore disappointing to find the TV didn't work (immediately reported but not fixed), and the room was cold overnight. Neither issues were showstoppers but an unusually rare lapse in customer service.

Our daughter held her wedding here yesterday that all went well. BUT the lift was out of use and there were so many stairs it was horrendous. By the time I got to my seat to witness my husband walk her down the aisle of was breathless. Some guests also sai they had problems with bad manners from bar staff?? The wedding was well organised.

Booked a spa day here for my daughter and I.

We arrived around 10.45am as confirmation directly from hotel website said arrival from 10am. When we finally found the spa they said our treatments were booked for 10am so we had to show paperwork that didn't give treatment times just arrival from 10am for spa ! The girl did at first say they were fully booked but after I made it clear we had no time confirmed she did accommodate us with two separate times for our treatments. We then asked if we could have our cream tea which was included in the spa day at 2pm as we would like to use the pool and facilities and she said yes no problem. During our treatments no-one was on the spa desk so we couldn't check out any details ask for further details or treatments and check where we needed to go for our swim (pool nice but Jacuzzi was unbearable as chlorine burned your eyes !) and cream tea. After 10 mins of going to the cafe by pool the staff there directed us to the main restaurant who tried to direct us back to the cafe. Finally she came out and said out cream tea was booked for 1pm and we had missed it! I inisited it was asked for 2pm so she spoke to chef and he agreed to make it for us � food was lovely but at no point did we see any spa staff after our first two treatments and the hotel is very big and confusing so would have felt nice to be shown where we needed to be after all it was supposed to be a relaxing day after all ! Such a shame because hotel looks lovely food was nice what we ate just bear in mind when booking a spa day you are offered it through hotel but all the companies are separate to each other so no-one wants to know once they have done their bit for you. i.e spa is separate to hotel leisure area is separate restaurant is separate again! Service is everything guys it's what brings people back to the hotel!

On arrival was told the spa was shut! We’ve travelled up from Essex this was the whole point of the stay! Turns out wasn’t shut at all! Morning one get knock at the door at 08.15 to be asked do I want the room cleaned???! No!! Day 2 still asleep at 08.30 get knock at door, I ignored thinking she’d go away no she let her self in! My husband sleeps naked so that could of been interesting! At some point in the night they’ve shoved the bill under the door ! To leave a positive note the spa staff and dining staff very nice
