We all love Julia Donaldson. We might have to read Zog to celebrate in the new year 😀

Delilah is 2 today. She is fiercely independent, strong willed, determined. She knows what she wants and goes ahead and gets it. Today she had to check if her wellies were waterproof or not (after the water got in yesterday) and then made some potions in the water. Next she went to collect her stick that her grandad had carved and varnished for her. She loves her stick (and her wellies). Delilah rocks 😍

A very wet and windy afternoon reading stickman and seeing Father Christmas. You were all amazing and didn’t let the rain dampen your spirits. There were some excellent stick men made, dens built, balancing on the slack line, climbing trees, toasting marshmallows, drinking hot chocolate and then meeting Santa himself and getting a present. A super afternoon. Thank you all for coming. If you have any photos you would like to share we would love to see them. 🎄🎅🎄🔥🎄😍🎄

If you would like to share your photos we would love to see them. Happy Christmas and we hope to see you at a session soon 🌳🎄🔥🌳🎄🎅😀

Millie is 5 today 😍 she wanted to get better at climbing trees now she is 5. She showed perseverance, resilience, determination, motivation, a sense of achievement, took calculated risks and improved her gross motor skills. She learnt about height, strength, weight, depth, balance, coordination, trees and nature. Millie rocks!! 😍🌳😍🌳

Wow! What an amazing find. Hidden away at the back of Sarah’s garden. You climb the secret steps which take you into a truly special place.

I arranged a trip for my rainbows group here. We took 14 girls. They spent the morning following trails, building fairy houses, making mud pies, climbing in trees, swinging on hammocks, toasting marshmallows, building dens, mixing potions, finding bugs, tasting edible plants and exploring the forest!

Their was a mixture of guided activities and independent exploration time. All the girls had a wonderful morning and so did I. We will be back. Thank you

What a wonderful adventure we had in the forgotten forest today! If you have an intrepid toddler or child that loves the outdoors then this is the place for you. I have been to lots of outdoor areas and worked in early years for a long time and this area is nothing short of FANTASTIC. Full of imagination and activities which all the children loved. Well done Sarah you have created something amazing

We’ve been to a couple of sessions and we all really enjoy it. I have a four year old and a one year old and they’ve got years worth of fun here. The themed sessions based around books are a really nice experience too.

User

We've had a lovely morning playing in the forest, pumpkin carving and decorating, mud kitchen and making dens then singing, eating toasted marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate by the fire! Brilliant, with refreshments and a toilet plus a tepee that would be ideal for nappy changes. Xx

We had my daughters 7th birthday party here after she had such a great time visiting the forgotten forest with her rainbows group. The children enjoyed playing on the swing, mud kitchen and with the clay and hammer tools as well as the activities Sarah had planned-a treasure hunt, unicorn story and making unicorn hobby horses. The camp fire for marshmallows and hot chocolate was lovely too. Such a lovely place and Sarah is great at what she does.

User

We had a fantastic morning today for the Supertato session, lovely, safe setting for children to explore, my little boy said he loved it all but especially the mud kitchen and hammering the nails! I’m also super jealous that you have this as an extension to your garden! Will defo be booking again!

User

We came to the unicorn event & both my girls (5yrs & 1yr) loved playing in the mud, exploring, toasted marshmallows & so much more!! Brilliant morning! Thank you!

Sarah is an amazing practitioner and teacher. She has an empathic and curious style with the children which allows them to feel safe in the forest with her. She plans interactive and fun activities and themed sessions and brings story characters to life for the children. We love the forest school sessions and themed one off sessions. Totally fabulous set up, quality resources and thoughtful sessions that enhance learning and exploration. Keep it up Sarah!!

User

Really great place - Sarah is a gem and there's so much fun to be had. Makes parents think abit too and play outdoor games, great for a bit of a different activity to do as a family. X

Quote from my little boy who starts ‘big school’ (reception class) in September:

“Mummy can this be my new school, I want to come here every day!”.

We had a fantastic experience today and my little boy was impressed by how many ‘real life builder tools’ he could safely get his hands on. Other highlights included blackberry picking (& eating), making potions in the mud kitchen, looking for insects and toasting marshmallows.

Thank you Sarah for a great day, we can’t wait to book onto our next session!

User

Just completed our forest school block. We have done so many things! Made owls , fairy houses. Read stories, made perfume in the mud kitchen. Coloured necklaces and wind chimes. Explored the pond with tadpoles. Learnt about bugs and looked at them with a magnifying glass. Hammered nails , made dens, enjoyed hot choccy and marshmallows around a fire!! But most of all overcome a fear of mud and getting too messy!!! ..... how fabulous

I’ve known Sarah for about 8 months. My dad and husband have both taken my little boy to her sessions and enjoyed them. Today she came into school to run sessions for our year 4 end of term ‘trip’. She organised a clue hunt around the forest school area, provided hot chocolate and snacks as well as helping the children make bows and arrows. The children and I all loved it. It was just a shame that we couldn’t spend all day outside with her! Thanks Sarah.

User

I visited here today with my son who loves being outdoors, it was amazing. We didn’t stop from the moment we got there. There was so much to keep him, and me, entertained and very muddy. We can’t wait to return. The hot chocolate and marshmallows were the perfect finishing touch. Thank you Sarah for creating this wonderful place so close to home. I can’t recommend it enough!

User

Had my sons 5th party my here and it was brilliant (despite the torrential rain!) The kids absolutely loved picking blackberries, playing in the mud and digging for dinosaur bones. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic Jenson’s really enjoyed holiday club. He’s been ranting all day about the fox and how much fun he’s had over the last two days. He’ll definitely be back and I’ll be recommending to friends
