What can I say. Had dinner on Tuesday evening and lunch on Wednesday. Menu is enticing. I could not make up my mind. Food is delicious and all freshly produced. Presentation tickles the taste buds. Staff are amazing. And those chips...they are to die for...never tasted chips like it anywhere. Well priced...very affordable for the quality of the food. Everyone, everywhere should try this place!

We celebrated my birthday with a fabulous meal on may 5th, couldn't fault the food or the service, the waitresses were lovely and friendly, all in all we had a great evening. Last night we we're in for drinks, same friendly service and a great atmosphere, it's about time Billingborough had a public house that's for everyone .

Something special going on here in Billingborough! The staff has treated me like family and food is first class. I moved here from Kentucky for a summer internship and after two days the staff has made the village feel like home. They will be seeing me a lot over the next few months. Lucky to be around the corner!!

Since John left way back the place went down hill, the landlords varied.. Terry was arrogant and Brian was very friendly, but the food has been below average until now, the new peole have got it sorted, great food, good beer and to my wifes delight a grand selection of Gins, and to top it off the staff are lovely, we now have a local we want to visit regularly again

Opted for the 2 steaks & bottle of wine offer for £35 and the steak was cooked perfectly. Lovely and tender & juicy. Ordered sauces which were equally as nice. Will definitely return

Moved to the village recently and couldn't be happier to have this pub on my doorstep. The new management are amazing friendly and just really down to earth people. The staff are all so friendly and so well presented and the food is incredible. Can highly recommend

Love Brian the landlord! We were a group of four noisy girls who went to the Fortescue last night (Thursday 8th Sept) to celebrate a friends birthday. Brian the landlord gave her a mini bottle of prosecco to say happy birthday and was very chatty and informative throughout the evening. At the end of the night he came out of the kitchen with a massive slice of (delicious) cake each, plates, forks and a jug of cream. What a kind gesture! The lady who served us our drinks was equally as lovely and we had a good laugh with her. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, had such a giggle and Brian made it that extra bit more special. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

It was a really lovely olde worldy pub the service was great, the food was all cooked fresh and was excellent. It was a nice gesture when the owners came out to speak to you, you don't see this in any othe establishment

Fortescue hosted my Cancer fundraiser yesterday and unfortunately it rained, so we had to take over the main bar and we were well looked after. Lots of noise and laughter. A great day all round and £400 raised on the day, with more donations to my Facebook fundraising page, so a good start. Thank you Fortescue Arms x

Fantastic meal this evening; great food and service - couldn't have had a better waitress! Really impressed by the range of gins & mixers on offer and very reasonably priced too. Will be visiting again very soon and can't recommend highly enough. Nice to see the Fortescue returning to the standard it used to be!

User

Fantastic Sunday lunch! Food is really good...very fresh and tasty. Menu has a wide variety of dishes ...a welcome change to a lot of the pubs in the area.

User

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here making the most of their Sunday offer as usually prices would be a little too high for me personally. However the food was really good and I was impressed with the professional service.. Will definitely be going again :)

User

Good service, prices a little too high for standard of food, nice plate of food but average I’m afraid...won’t be rushing back unfortunately.

User

Overpriced very average food. Undercooked veg. Charged for a thimble cup full of extra gravy. Asked at time of ordering "would you like extra gravy?" At no time did they mention that is was an extra charge. Overpriced beer too! Waitress very friendly. Would not return!
