We are farmers of traditional, very #slow-grown and #free-range #chickens, #cockerels, #turkeys and #geese to bring the superior flavour and higher welfare back for discerning taste buds.
Fosse Meadows Farm Description
The Ball family has been farming in the village of Frolesworth for over 100 years and is still farming the land on the same principles of crop rotation as it was when the family started. David Ball is now passing on his knowledge to Jacob and I as we extend the farm into producing free-range turkeys and chickens. . . at the moment we are apprentices for my father and are yet to call ourselves farmers!
We are members of the Traditional Farm Fresh Turkey Association who have strict controls over diet and bird welfare, we are also recommended by Henrietta Green's 'Food Lovers Britain'.

#didyouknow we not only produce very #slowgrown (at least 2 weeks longer than #organic), French breed, totally #freerangechickens - but we also produce #cockerels, the same breed, raised to the same high standards but grown on at least another 2 weeks. Our cockerels have total freedom on our farmland, foraging on clover rich pasture, in hedgerows, under trees...or exploring the hay bales in the barn!
