What a fab cafe. I went to a talk on Nutrition by Jenna yesterday with some friends and loved it.Followed by waffles what a fab way to spend a Sunday morning
Was just wondering around town hunting for something suitable for a coeliac vegan. Was about to settle for a baked potato for breakfast :( when as if like a mirage in a hungry desert I see foundations cafe! Just had the most delicious protein chocolate gluten free oats with cacao nibs, raspberry and banana. Bloody delicious. Coffee was divine and then an unbelievably scrumptious raw vegan carrot cake. So sad I don't work or live more central so I can go here every day! Lunch looks incredible, super healthy protein boxes. Run by a personal trainer/nutritionist so all geared towards making you feel great from inside out. Going to have our work Christmas do here. Seriously impressed!

Some of the best coffee in Bristol and a really lovely atmosphere! The food tastes incredible, even better than unhealthy treats, and because you know it's good quality and balanced you can leave feeling fantastic. Try the baked sweet potato (with some of the best houmous I've tasted), protein waffles or protein shakes (both perfectly balanced taste, you'd barely know they were protein-y!). Everyone is super friendly and committed to health, nutrition and enjoyment of food. Cannot recommend enough, a truly excellent addition to the food scene in Bristol.

Singed up for the meal prep club and very happy with it. Makes it much easier to eat a variety of better quality food, at basically the same price of a sad supermarket meal deal. It's also quick: my meals are always ready for me, so I don't have to waste time queuing. Helps resist temptations too: my meals are already paid for so I don't need to carry cash around, so I can't give in to the craving for a big, greasy lunch or buy soda or chocolate on the way back to the office. Good job Foundations Café!

My protein waffles and berry shake were really delicious, and the coffee is excellent. It's great to have somewhere central that offers quick, properly balanced meals for such a reasonable price. Friendly staff, nice plants and big open windows make it a bit of an oasis in a busy part of town. Love the sound of the talks too. Thanks!

Love the decor and the selection of food... and there are two big lovely sofas in there which are perfect to chill out on!
