James Welch 29 lb 04 oz and 29 lb 08 oz. Hats off to all the guys that fished this weekend, really bad conditions with a couple of trees coming down on Kingfisher Lake. Just a reminder to all that the weekends are now being booked up and to ring me on 07483110811 if you wish to book some dates.

Daryl Baker with a new p.b 26 lb 04 oz.

Hi everybody, does anyone work where they can get hold of some of these seal able storage drums. I need 6 or 7 of the bigger one to store the pellet for the stock ponds. Many thanks.

User

Lee Chipperfield 24 lb 00 oz. Chris Pearce also had a 25 lb 13 oz common with picture to follow.

User

Dean Willoughby 23 lb 04 oz.

User

Martin Hodge 26 lb 02 oz. Martin fished really hard to bag this new P.B. They say that lightning does not strike twice but we are pretty sure that this is the same fish that Chris caught on Thursday. Dean Willoughby had a 23 lb 04 oz mirror as well this afternoon so with the low pressure weather coming in maybe the fish are going on the feed.

User

Chris Wright with a 26 lb 05 oz mirror and a 19 lb 10 oz common.

Well done to the guys who got through a pretty rough night. Gary Hurrell caught the first 30 of the year with a 31 lb 12 oz mirror from swim 5 and Steve Hartry bagged a 23 lb common from swim 2. I will be updating the booking post in the next couple of days as a number of this years weekends are now booked.

Alan and I have taken advantage of the good weather in the last two weeks. We removed all brambles growing around and into Speci lake, trimmed back a number of trees to open up water on swims 1, 2 and 3. On swim 5 the foliage to the left of the reed bed has been opened up to enable fishing along the margin. The reed bed has been reduced in size by digging out a large amount of the root system. The reeds that were dug out have now been used to fill gaps on the island. The erosion on the island seems to have stopped and the large recesses on either side of the island are now nearly completely filled with flag iris. The daffodils are starting to poke through so roll on the Spring. Daren.
