Visited last weekend for my wife’s birthday. The restaurant has been newly renovated and it shows - a stunning room with panoramic views of beautiful Dogmersfield Park as well as into the kitchen. Having made only a passing comment about my wife’s birthday to the staff member who took my reservation, we were offered a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival, as well as birthday inscribed petit fours after our meal - a very nice touch. Generally, the food and service were both outstanding - I usually find something to moan about at a restaurant but I struggled here! No it isn’t cheap but you will remember a celebratory dinner here for all the right reasons. Highly recommended.

The most fabulous spa day yesterday! One of my treatments was a pedicure and there was a problem with one of my toenails. Four seasons have offered me another spa pedicure- really good customer service. I’ve been several times and would not go anywhere else - simply brilliant 😊

The Four Seasons in Hampshire is amazing, I can’t recommend it highly enough. The team were fantastic and only too happy to help. They made our wedding anniversary so special with a free upgrade, beautiful anniversary chocolates and a hand written card. The Spa was fantastic, the food delicious and we were so surprised by how family friendly the whole hotel was. We can’t wait to visit again and may bring the children next time!

My wife and I went to dinner on Saturday evening our first time but our other four friends dining with us had been before. As first timers at the Four Seasons we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was raining when we arrived and the doorman magically appeared with an umbrella to cover the few steps into the foyer and valet parking was welcome. Then G&T’s followed by a superb dinner. All the staff we encountered were courteous and attentive. One of our party purchased a spa & treatment day for a family member and I made a note to get one for my wife as a post Christmas relaxation day prezzie which I will be doing soon.

Based on our experience all six of us vowed to return, maybe for Sunday lunch.

My brother and I went for a spa retreat day and stayed for dinner as we were having such a wonderful time! The massages we both had were first rate - one deep tissue and one specific back massage. The facilities were first rate, pool really warm and heated floor surrounding it was delightful on a freezing cold day. Our lunch in the Sante cafe was excellent too. We booked for dinner and both felt the food was outstanding - especially the sweet course we had! I’ve been once before and stayed overnight which was truly sensational. It was a special birthday for my brother and I can honestly say everyone from the valet parking assistant to the spa reception staff including the massage therapists and dining staff were faultless. Thank you for a truly memorable day. I hope I can visit again soon.

Just spent an amazing 3 nights here. We have been coming to this hotel every year for the past ten years and always find it superb. The service and attention to detail from the staff is second to none. The renovation of the bar and restaurant is truly stunning the pictures on the website do not do it justice! Cannot wait to return!

User

I love this hotel , the setting is beautiful , the food and service each time I’ve visited have been amazing and the highlight for me is the spa in particular!!

User

Had a wonderful afternoon with my friend celebrating our 50ths. Superb service from start to finish. Fabulous tea and superb cocktails. Thank you so much. I will be recommending to everyone and will definitely return. Special thanks to James and Ivan!

User

Had a really lovely day -the spa was very quiet which was nice -lots of staff around who were very attentive. Amazing changing rooms and shower area . Treatment was great and 2 course lunch very tasty. All in all excellent ! Would definitely recommend

User

Beautiful hotel and attentive staff, the massage I had from the Hungarian lady was the most thourough massage I've ever had. Deep tissue.

As for the breakfast I sent mine back because it was stone cold, not even tepid, shame. And looking out of my room the wooden roof of the gangway is in need of cleaning and painting, that's all.

User

We really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately the staff were setting up for breakfast before we left for an 20.30 dinner reservation. Everything, including service was lovely, just unfortunate that the only time we were offered to eat meant, for the same price, we needed to witness the change over for breakfast. Not quite the experience we laid for to others that ate earlier?!?

User

Pretty great place to stay, staff were very nice and down to earth, unlike at some of the other 5 star hotels I stay at. The only downside is that the hotel is a ways out there so you will have to cab into town if you are interested in going to the town for some pints. I give 4 stars instead of 5 just because they missed a few things in my room when cleaning and forgot the lotion and bath items- otherwise great stay

User

Lovely afternoon tea. Staff super helpful, they made special sandwiches for my fussy children.

The library was a beautiful setting and not crowded, which was lovely.

Everything 5 stars, but would be nice if they offered a full Childrens afternoon tea. With cupcakes and ice cream with the plain sandwiches to accommodate children’s plainer requirements.

Thank you

I went for a spa day Tuesday 5th December that included the warm clove massage and lunch. I'd been told in advance that Cafe Sante was closed, so lunch was in The Wils Carrot instead.

The place was easy to find and park, beautiful geounds and building. The facilities were spotlessly clean and light.

I started with a workout in the gym. The machines are very high tech and self explanatory. I then went for a swim: the water was really toasty. My one whinge of the day was as lovely as the vitality pool is, there was nothing ro explain how to operate it. When I tried to use it at various times in the day, the controls did not work though the pool wasn't closed ofd and was still warm.

I spent the rest of the say dipping in and out of the various sauna/steam/pools. All clean and well maintained. I was so chilled befor lunch I practically floated down.

Lunch was fab. I thought the restaurant looked great foe Christmas and my table was comfy and neat with great views. The food was yummy, especially the traditional turkey main. Large portions, but very nice.

The massage was bliss. I almosy drifted of several times.

Upmarket but not snobby at all, I had a great day.

Had a wonderful relaxing day.

Staff were very cuertious, professional and helpful. They could not be faulted.

Treatments were wonderful.

Facilities were very well run.

Food was a little dissapointing when catering for the gluten free guest. Apart from fruit there were no other snacks to have mid afternoon with a cuppa.

My only criticism is that you need to work on you GF cakes!

Already planning to go back!

User

Amazing spa and facilities but pool and lunch venue overrun by noisy kids and their posh parents. Needs a separate kiddy pool and an adults only spa area.

First visit here yesterday evening to celebrate a 50th Birthday. The long driveway, with the building afar and elegantly lit - wow! I was thinking...... the first slip up was bring sent to the wrong location (someone else's party) by the reception staff! Second - On joining the group we were meeting, drinks were ordered, my husband's arrived........ mine didn't even turn up!

When further orders were placed, it became apparent that the waitress couldn't cope with a list of more than 4 drinks as many others didn't arrive and had to be ordered again. I must point out that the bar was very empty.

Once in the restaurant, after we had to remind them we had a table booked, the service improved. Food was delicious.

BUT, I won't be hurrying back for the poor service.

We were very disappointed in our stay over the weekend. This hotel does not live up to Four Season standards in any way.

1. When we arrived with our dog, the terrace was full and there was no other place for us to eat which was dog friendly. Why claim that the hotel is dog friendly when the restaurants are not! There are better hotels outside of London which even serve dogs their own breakfast in the indoor restaurants. It took us over half an hour for them to finally bring another table for us outside -- after being hussled back and forth between venues. When we wanted to eat inside with our dog the next day (to get out of the sun), our request was challenged until some lowsy finger sandwhiches were brought -- too little too late.

2. Dogs are also not allowed in the pool area (even if they do not make any noise and are tiny). Again, this hotel should not claim to be dog friendly

3. Spa receptionists, where we booked a tennis court, had no information regarding if they have tennis rackets to borrow. Also, was a disaster trying to even book the tennis court days before our stay.

4. Servers could not even handle bringing water to the sitting room. It was warm -- had to go back to get ice and lemon. Not Four Seasons standards.

These stressful 24 hrs were definately not worth the £600 we spent and and we will not be coming back.

I was taken to the Four Seasons for Sunday lunch to celebrate my 30th birthday with all my family. Unfortunately that evening and the following morning, three of the party, including myself, came down with a stomach bug. I am extremely disappointed by the overall experience, the cost we have incurred, the fact that I have had to take sick days from work and generally for the slow response and lack of action taken by the manager of the restaurant to deal with this situation sufficiently. We will not be returning again nor recommending to anyone else. Annoyingly my sister has a gift voucher to use there as well but doesn’t wish to return either.
