Fourways currently have a large single room this also can be a double room, this is en-suite and has a lovely shared decking area directly from the room. Petra has been busy cooking and preparing all this food ready for our Czech Republic afternoon! Giving us all the information about Czech and food to try. We had dumplings with pork and onions, chicken spicy steaks a la KFC, poppy cake and lots of different biscuits and also healthy melon balls 😁 Dobrou chut! Which is Enjoy your meal!

Belinda has worked here at Fourways for over 20 years...I would say she’s part of the furniture but that’s changed several times since she’s been here! Her daughter, Bridgette, is running in the London Marathon for Reach. It is a charity which helps children with upper limb differences. What else is there to do on a hot sunny day, then demolish lots of ice lollies with great company!

A BIG thanks to a very generous couple who came this afternoon with a surprise EGG - NORMOUS Easter egg for all the residents to share next weekend. Weren’t we LUCKY!!!

We were delighted to have St. John’s school children come into Fourways and interview our residents about their lives. It was lovely to see our residents light up when talking about their lives. Thank you very much to all the children for being so polite and preparing interesting questions!

A crafts afternoon for the residents, knitting and braiding. Everyone took part and Majorie showed us her two dolls she had made! Followed by well deserved afternoon tea 🍰

The resident really enjoyed going out to the ‘tea dance’ with Sue. Pat showed us you never forget how to move with the music 💃💃

Love was in the air all week here at Fourways! The residents spent Valentine’s Day baking cookies filled with their love 💗 after all, the best way to anyone’s heart is through the stomach! We hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day 💓 🌹 🍫

Today we had a vegan tasting session for #veganuary 😁 Reisdents, visitors and staff all took part and loved it! A very big eye opener to all the foods we could enjoy.....even using avocado to make chocolate cakes 😍

Residents and staff loved their trip to Killerton house to see the snow queen! 👸🏻

A very Merry Christmas from Fourways! Thank you to Nicola and June Usherwood for saying Grace and a lovely speech! All the residents are now tucking into their Christmas dinner.

Fourways have had a wonderful Christmas Eve afternoon a Christmas party was enjoyed by residents and staff children. Lots of games played, too much food eaten and lots of well decorated Zimmer frames ready for tomorrow.
