Fowey Aquarium is small but definitely worth the visit if you have the chance. All of the sea creatures have been locally caught and are some great examples of the types of creatures of which you do not see everyday. The owner was very talkative and clearly took pride on what he was doing. I would definitely recommend Fowey Aquarium, visit it if you can.
Good selection of local fish! The owner is very knowledgeable and an excellent way to spend and hour on a rainy afternoon :-)
My daughter loved it, we were there for feeding time and it was great! Very friendly staff and very interesting.
Affordable fun, particularly if you have any children in your party. There's a shallow pool where they can touch various sea creatures like crabs and starfish. It's very enlightening that all the occupants of the aquarium were caught in the local water. I saw an example of the fish I'd had for dinner the night before. And of course, the Octopus is super cool. The owner is friendly and talkative and can give you back story and additional information on all that you see in this small collection.
We visited Cowley Aquarium today please don't visit it is a rip off- it has 8 fish tanks take 5 minutes to walk around it is dark and has no atmosphere. We drove 45 minutes to get there DISGUISED.. other commitments have been sent by members of his friends and family this is a rip off!!!
