Fowey Hall Hotel

We've been at least 6 or 7 times to this wonderful place. We've tried other hotels in the luxury family range and always return to Fowey as it is by far the most superior in terms of customer service. From the reception staff, to the restaurant and creche they are all absolutely fabulous. Already planning our next trip!

Great location in fowey set just outside of the village but still walking distance.. the building is very grand with some amazing walks and sights

A good hotel clearly well set up for families. Lots for kids to do. Meals were very good but drinks and food both pricey.

Rarely leave Reviews but this hotel and the beautiful town of Fowey has meant a return visit within a year. Kids even asked to come back!! The Food & Beverages Manager (Martin) even remembered us! Loving the zip wire, the pool, the hot tub and constantly stoked open fireplaces. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed in the 'Claire' room with beautiful views over the harbour. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable, the whole place was very clean and we fit right in straight away. There were a few places in the room and bathroom where the paint is starting to peel away but it's an old mansion, so it's to be expected. The pool area was really nice, again very clean. If I had any criticisms, I feel there needs to be a bit more seating than a couple of bean bags and one chair. I went in the hot tub which was lovely but I was a bit put off by the foam scum that had collected in one corner. The controls were broken too which was a shame. We then had dinner in the restaurant, the service was fantastic and the food was incredible! I had the duo of beef and I could have eaten it twice over it was so good! We rounded of the evening by sitting in the lounge area in front of the fire and had a couple of drinks. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have children because it was very much designed for families but my wife and I enjoyed it just as much as a couple.

We had an amazing time at Fowey Hall from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, going out of their way to help us when needed. The food was delicious and the room so clean, cosy and elegant.
Wonderful fires in the lounge area and the Hot tub with its incredible view was icing on the cake.
This was a perfect break away. Thank you all. We will be back.

It's simply great. If you've a growing family you should book up pronto. Confident you won't regret it!

Stayed here for a long weekend.

Public rooms were elegant and flowed into each other. Nice views and gardens with a short steep walk down to the town. Lovely informal reception and good food, a little over priced. We ate in the town the second night. Only issue was the old period bed which was a little uncomfortable.
