We went there for a free nights camping (if you use the pub), it has a nice sized field out the back. Was fun putting the tent up in the wind :)



The meal good, I had a home made steak pie, fully loaded with steak and very tasty.



All in all a nice pub, good food, decent beer and plenty of room outside. If you are in the area give it a try.

We had the most amazing Sunday lunch yesterday. Beautifully cooked, the beef was as soft as butter and delicious 😋 Has to be the best pub roast ever.

We had a great time holding our get together of the Benimar UK Owners facebook group at this pub. The food was very good and prices reasonable as well. Our group of 20 all commented on how good this place was for our group. The field at the back excellent for our motorhomes. Thanks to Christine who made us welcome and for being so helpful to.

We Stumbled across this little gem.

Great country pub. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Good selection of beers and the wife liked the wine. We decided to have a lunch and both chose the home made home beef curry. Well the beef fell apart and melted in your mouth. The curry was real nice just the right amount of spice. It came with plan rice along with a nan bread, mango & lime/chilli chutney.

All in all, a great find and we are all ready planning our return for the home made roast..!

Stayed over the weekend with a few Hymer motorhomes. Great pub staff very helpful and friendly food was spot on lovely landlady .Field we stayed on was great .lovely walks .All in all a great place to have a get together ....we shall return

Massive thank you from The UEA Bike Club Reunion for making this a great weekend. The location, the food and the hospitality couldn't be faulted.

Many thanks to the Management and staff at the great pub, you managed to accommodate all of us on your great camping field, and then you were able to serve us some great food in the evening after a hard day's racing, once again thank you, we will be back, thanks from everybody involved with the BSA.

Large group of us camped here this weekend. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food, both on Friday eve and a much needed full English this morning. Both kids and adults had a fab time. Thanks for having us!

I loved my stay here this weekend. I last camped there are 8 or so years ago. I love the addition of the children's play area. The food was spot on. They catered for my 2 year old perfectly (I'd never seen him an almost entire child's nuggets and chips meal). Was made very welcome. Will be back for more I think.

I just would like to say that we loved our lunch at the Fox and Goose today. We were a party of 8 and as the only vegan I knew that I might struggle.

But the lady chef was an absolute star and was happy to make me what ever I wanted to eat.

I had an amazing dish and the rest of my party were equally happy with their meals.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. The kids play area could keep my little boy occupied for lifetimes, although the country walks around it are also awesome (if you or your kids love castles, tunnels, canals or bats in particular). The food is just what you need after a good long walk/playground session, and the staff are without exception the dictionary definition of hospitality. I actually didn't think proper pubs existed any more, now that wetherspoons have taken over the world, but this is the kind of place in grew up visiting with my parents. Oh and did I mention the lush food yet? Good traditional pub grub that makes you sit back and wish you'd worn an elasticated waistband. Love love love the place.

Had two awesome meals at the Fox & Goose in Greywell. One was the chicken and bacon bake and the other was the Sunday roast chicken. I haven't had roast potatoes like that for years, just like my nan's used to be. :)

Had the most amazing steak Saturday night , absolute fantastic pub and staff. Well worth a visit.

Great Sunday lunch we were a group of 18 they did a great job. Yummy roasties food was lovely.

We stayed here in our motorhome on Sunday 15/10/17 on our way back to Poole, It has a lovely grassed area to the rear of the pub. We arrived at 5.30 popped into the bar to say hello and have a drink, the landlady said they stopped cooking at 6pm on Sundays so we had an early dinner the meals we ordered where really good, I had the lambs liver and onions my wife had the roast chicken which she said was also good probably the best roast potatoes she has had,



Great Pub great food highly recommended and we also went for a walk down the toll path opposite the pub

along the canal to Odiham castle which was a 13th century Plantagenet castle it's a lovely walk,

(also recommended) All in all a great stopover and a good place to remember in future.
