Fox Hagg Farm Campsite
Reviews
If you looking for peace and quiet with good views it's your place. Not much is around and the shower is questionable. It's OK but there are better places to go to.
Nice quiet relaxing weekend up went the tent n chilled out for weekend
Visited midweek during school holidays for 2 nights. Gorgeous views of hill and valley from the camping field. Horses and cows over the fence too. Grass was nice and long which was a bonus as the weather was very rainy, and it seemed to stop the mud getting out of hand.
The cleaning/shower/toilet facilities are basic but very clean, showers don't cost extra and the cubicles (in the ladies at least) are large enough to hang your clothes/towel without them getting wet. Also big enough to take your small kids in with you.
We took 3 labradors with us for no extra charge which was great.
It is an inexpensive site compared to some, good for a break on a budget! The staff i spoke to were also extremely helpful and friendly.
HOWEVER! It was very windy and a gent who was camping there while working nearby told us it is pretty windy most of the time. So take plenty of extra good long tent pegs and secure well, and you will be fine.
Would definitely visit again.
Great location to head in to Sheffield for evening....stayed here at short notice to watch Kelly Brook v errol Spencer Jr great experience
Very reasonable price. The services are adequate but a little tired. Great views
Its got a lovley setting and its 2 minuets from shops cant fault this place
Made up prices. 17.50 one night on a field. Old caravans on site. No signage for waste water. Grass not cut. Although lovely view I won't recommend at all. It's a working farm so expect their focus is on their business. Site been neglected
Very poor site
Quite tranquil peaceful.
