landlord & staff very friendly run a good quiz on sunday night

What a great night Michael the dj was amazing all night not forgetting the bar staff who did an outstanding job this pub is definitely the place to be on a Saturday night

Only popped in for a quick lunchtime pint, the pub was packed with people having a carvery, we didnt have carvery but it looked good. Have been in a few times over the past few years and have noticed the improvements. Good pint ,

Nice pub, been refurbed awhile ago, looks really good. Lovely Sunday lunch, great value for money. Always great service & a laugh when Shaun & Grant are working, bar staff are good to especially Sharon who I am sure comes with the fixtures & fittings as she's been there that long. Artists most Fridays & Dj on most Saturdays. Friendly customers too

Fab new owners here. Came for Sunday carvery after trying all day breakfast last week. Both really lovely.

Decided to try the quiz night after seeing advertised and won £60 on stickies 13s Bonus! !!

Been coming here for years. The revamp has given the place a nice fresh makeover. Great for sport, food is great value and the staff are great. Cracking local.

Always a great night to be had Sean and Grant are both very welcoming beer and food are both fantastic live artists too can't ask for more. If I could rate higher than a 5* I would have done.

We had a good value roast lunch with a nice selection of meats, vegatables etc. Despite not having booked ( we were en route to the City Hospital ) the friendly bar staff arranged a table with no delay.

Not impressed by the food, what kind of food pub cant cook chips?? Burger wasnt too bad, but for the money we spent i expected better

Me and my husband have been going to this pub for the last 20 years and we thought we new one of the landlords quiet well until yesterday,

While having our meal I ask sean if I could speak to him about arranging a 40th wedding anniversary for my mother and father in law

Only to be told to f**k off twice which is not only unprofessional but not acceptable and won’t drink or eat in there again a long with many others.

Appalled by Sean attitude �



Not lest to say that grant is a credit to that place

And it’s shame I’ve had to write this review and will be contacting the brewery,
