Wonderful staff who couldn’t do more to make our first visit so enjoyable. The menu is extensive and there was something for everyone. The portion sizes were more than expected especially the six large chicken goujons my 2 year old granddaughter had with chips and baked beans. The quality of the food was excellent!

To make it better for our family was the fact that it’s dog friendly so our pet wasn’t forced to have to stay in the car.

When next in the area we will definitely return to this restaurant 👍

What a great place. I visited today with my wife, and we were certainly looked after by the friendly, helpful staff. We picked our choices from the menu, which was well priced and had plenty of choice. The staff the worked their magic and looked after us. The quality of all the food was good, but I must give particular praise to the 'Four Cheese Pasta Bake' that I had. For what might seem a relatively simple dish it was just superb! I'll happily drive a long way to taste that again.

We've been coming to the Fox and Hounds for years for meals but not been for a little while. Came for tea last night and again absolutely faultless. Yummy food, my steak was cooked to perfection and fab staff as always. Thankyou �

This was my and my friends first visit to the fox and hounds. The place was very homely, staff were so friendly and polite. The food was really good and cooked beautifully, we really enjoyed out visit . I will recommend it to my family and friends. Well done

My wife and I called in the fox n hounds for sunday lunch it was very nice and well presented roast pork Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings washed down with a canny pint I would reccomend this place the staff were well orgaized and friendly we will be back.

Literally the best parmo this side of Teesside. Gorgeous. It's the first place we think of now when going out for a meal! Lovely staff too.

Just had an amazing meal the food was 1st class staff were verry friendly & welcoming we loved it that much were getting all the family together & going for our xmas dinner...fantastic value for money

Dropped in for dinner on 29th December unannounced with 3 adults and 5 children. A very welcoming and warm place on a cold night. Lovely, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Wish it were my local!

Called in for a drink one sunny day and thought we have to come back for tea! We were not disappointed!! Fabulous meal amazing puds and service! Can't wait t go back!

Excellent meal for two last night, black pudding tower and pate for starters and steak and mushroom pie and smoked haddock risotto for mains all cooked perfectly, average glasses of Sauvignon Blanc but most enjoyable with friendly staff.
