We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch. Great food and attention to the details didn't go unnoticed....even more crackling for the chaps. Love this pub and the fact that it's only 5 minutes from home makes it even better.....however, I'd travel to go there.

Took my mum out for Sunday Lunch today, excellent service, lovely meal.....beautifully cooked roast pork with crackling....crispy roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings do die for, vegetables cooked to perfection, don't get me started on the puddings!!! Highly recommended �

The best pub around. Staff are amazing and the food is fantastic. Such a great place to eat, the christmas menu is out of this world.

I’d heard the rumours about this place being good. Well I definitely wasn’t disappointed! What a gorgeous country pub!!

Fantastic service, very welcoming, attentive staff who knew how to keep customers happy. Correctly checking throughout our visit if we required more drinks, shortly after receiving our meals checking things were OK. Food was brilliant, really hitting the taste buds and I will definitely be recommending in the future and revisiting!

Had a fantastic night at the fox and hounds marquee for my surprise 50th birthday.

Terri and his team could not have been any more accommodating it was perfect.

Had Sunday lunch today with family and I think it was the best one yet, we all loved it. The pub was buzzing which is great to see! The beef was fab, thank you all!

Great vibe in the place, super friendly, easy to book and the food is proper cooked food which we've really enjoyed today- would definitely recommend and hope to return thanks!

Great beers/ciders, fabulous service and excellent food. Sunday lunches are delicious and the pulled pork nachos on the bar menu are out of this world incredible!

Booked in for a sunday lunch today and was completey blown away by the friendly staff who couldnt do enough for us, the warm atmosphere in the pub and restaurant.

Such a lovely setting for a country pub with everything you could want, the kids had great fun on the play area after our delicious meal and the adults had a chance to sit in the beer garden and socialise whilst keeping an eye on the little ones.

The food portions were very generous indeed with a superb variety of veg for sharing, the waiting staff were on spot on, smiling all the time and had particular attention to detail..

This not the first time we have been to the pub but I thought the pub and staff deserve recognition for their hard work and determination to provide customers with a excellent experience every time!

Been going in this pub for 13 years and saw various landlords come and go. Went for drinks with the girls last nite. Had a great nite. Really impressed with how the place has scrubbed up. Still got the village pub vibe.

Beautiful little pub in the countryside, everything you need after a long walk through the fields , great food great beer and great staff, we spent New Year’s Eve in there marquee out the back and it was an absolutely brilliant night, thanks to everyone who made us so welcome

Atmosphere, food, service and beer are all excellent. If you’re in the area, it is worth making a visit.
