Community cinema in Leek, Staffordshire screening innovative & exciting films of various genres. We're passionate about bringing quality films to Leek.

We offer a weekly programme of independent British films, foreign language and recent release films that may not always make it to the mainstream cinema.

We seek out films individually, scour reviews voraciously and listen to radio and TV shows to bring you the best range and breadth of films that might otherwise be unknown to local people and even ourselves.

We create an innovative and exciting programme showing newly released films, if possible before they appear for sale in retail outlets.

If you struggle to attend cinemas further afield, Foxlowe Films is the perfect place for small groups or you can even come on your own. We're a very welcoming bunch.

We try very hard to provide a programme that covers as wide a range of subjects and genres as possible in the hope that audiences will have the chance to see a selection that encompasses not only British and American films, but films from many other parts of the world. We aim to show thought-provoking subject matter as well as pure entertainment.

We have shown black and white films, silent films, animation and documentaries, classic films and films for children.

Previous screenings include: Pride, Still Alice, Selma, Testament of Youth, Boyhood, Two Days One Night, Northern Soul, The Lunchbox, Wadja and Woman in Gold, to name but a few.


Tickets are available from Foxlowe Arts Centre Gallery and cost only £5. CASH ONLY - Thank you. Children's Matinee £1 per adult & £1 per child.

Screenings take place Tuesday evenings in The Rainbow Room from 7: 45pm. Please check online as the timetable can vary.
