Never been disappointed when eating at Foxtons. Usually visit Berwick twice a year and always have a couple of visits here. Great good.

I hadn't eaten out in Berwick-upon-Tweed before, so we just went to the first place with a reasonably priced menu at the door. The menu was small, but everything sounded nice. The staff were pleasant, and the atmosphere was OK, however the layout of the seating was somewhat unusual, and we found ourselves going through the bar to a raised area near the door. Service wasn't as quick as I'd like, and my first choice meal had sold out (and it took 10-15 minutes to be told this), however the food was fine when it did arrive, and the portions were quite big. I'd probably try somewhere else the next time, however I would go back there again.

Have been here lots over the years. Went a couple of weeks ago with friends on a Sunday. Sunday lunch menu didn't have much for vegetarians so I opted for the roasted sweet potato. While my friends tucked into big plates of roast beef and veg I had half a sweet potato (with no sign of the black beans mentioned on the menu) and a handful of salad. I wish restaurant would make more of an effort for vegetarians, especially on their Sunday lunch menu.

Wonderful. Great atmosphere and staff very friendly. Came Monday at the start of our hols and we were so impressed we came back today. 5 stars all round for food and service. Thank you . If you go here the rice pudding us to die for

Had roast beef Sunday lunch , beef is beautiful and mash is really nice.
Service is fast and friendly.
