Framework Ashfield Description
Ashfield Moving Forward is a housing related support service for people coping with mental health problems. People can be referred to the service via the local Community Mental Health Team at Nottinghamshire County Council.
Moving Forward can give you the support you need, from dealing with landlords or mortgage lenders, finding accommodation, accessing specialist services, dealing with debts, budgeting and claiming benefits and signposting to other services. Moving Forward aims to give you the skills, information and opportunities you need to take the steps to independence.
Ashfield Brighter Futures supports vulnerable people who may be coping with learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder or an acquired brain injury.
You do not need to have an issue with your housing to be eligible for the service.
We offer a flexible service, personalised to you. We can help with things like finding accommodation, accessing specialist services, dealing with debts, budgeting and claiming benefits, finding local courses or activities among many other things.
We can support you in a range of ways, which could include one to one visits in your own home or out in the community, attending groups or activities or practical courses run by Skills Plus.
