For this year’s #WorldHealthDay, the World Health Organization (WHO) is focusing on universal health coverage. In France, nearly 355,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year, but inequalities can lead to differences in survival rates. To address health inequalities and reduce mortality from curable cancers, France launched the 2014-2019 Cancer Plan in 2013, which mobilizes all available intervention resources, from research to care.
