The best home hardware shop I've ever been to. A small place but packed dense as hell with pretty much everything you'd need, stocking useful stuff other places don't, like individual Hoover bags and sheets of sandpaper.
Prices are decent, sometimes better than Amazon's.
Francis, the long-haired guy, has apparently been running this place since it opened in 1966. Don't know about that for sure but he is clearly a right geezer who knows his stuff.

Excellent service, very helpful! Would definitely recommend. I was in urgent need of a set of keys, I'm not very savvy when it comes to hardware, but the gentleman there offered good advice and said I could return the keys if they didn't fit. Fortunately, everything worked out:)

Their slogan really should be ' free advice with every order'! the staff are great and I reckon they stock more lines than Homebase!
