Great Italian food, friendly helpful staff, always had a good time here. Well worth a visit, especially for Happy Hour, very popular so best to book a table

First time eaten here today and wow does not disappoint. The staff especially the gentleman that served us was full of character. The garlic bread starter was the best I have had. We then had small pizza which is an excellent idea as we don't eat lots at lunch time. The pizza was beautiful. Can not fault at all beautiful surroundings fantastic staff and exceptional food. Great food and service. Cutlery was a little dirty but they were happy to replace. Little space but overall nice looking.

I ordered Gnocchi Al Formaggio and got something terrible - gnocchi bought in TESCO and cheese sauce without any taste, resp. with the taste of raw flour. And parmesan? Only in very rare amount ...

Love this traditional Italian restaurant. Always visit when I am in Carlisle. Hearty, wholesome fare and, if anything, the portions are too big! Great service and a warm, friendly atmosphere. No wonder it is always so busy.

About as Italian as sushi. No olive oil, balsamic or even acceptable pasta. If it's home made.....and if it isn't it is a disgrace.....i'll eat my sushi hat.
