Hi, I’m Frank! I’ve been tutoring 11 + , GCSE, and A-level students for over eight years. My particular passions are chemistry and biology where I’ve helped many students develop an enthusiasm that not only leads to great exam results but develops confidence that supports them for years to come. I was poorly taught these subjects by disinterested teachers at school. I had never considered a career in the sciences until I met a few inspirational professors at university. Then, everything changed. I finished with a degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas and then popped over to Britain for a “quick” PhD in biochemistry. 15 years later, I’m still here with a wife, two sons, and a British passport!

I loved my time working in the lab on cancer research but found myself naturally attracted to private tuition which I’ve been doing full-time for over eight years. I don’t approach tuition as the set of lectures and exercises you often get in schools. Instead, we chat and have discussions about the topics in a way that suits the specific learning needs of the student. In my experience, with a little motivation and support, any student is capable of anything!

I tutor in Kensington & Chelsea and the surrounding areas 3 days a week, and in Harpenden & Dunstable 2 days a week.
