Excellent service. I cannot find fault with the food. It was all very nice. I have read the previous reviews but my experience was quite the opposite, hopefully they had taken the comments on board and improved things because from my point of view a throughly good evening with lovely food. We were a group of 8, including kids so a wide range of things chosen from the menu and no concerns.

Very good waiter service . He was working so hard , so polite . He was doing his very best to cover up for the terrible food , he was clearly embarrassed serving it . It was dreadful . Soggy pitta bread , huge uncut 'lumps of chicken . An over boiled to death old corn on the cob and barley warm chips . Not again . I've given this place a chance , they need higher standards in the kitchen .

Our food whilst tasted nice wasn’t as warm as it should’ve been however, the staff were brilliant, handled it really well by offering to cook me a fresh meal which I declined and just got them to warm it up. They couldn’t apologise more and once warm I really enjoyed my meal and would go back. Well done to the staff they saved the day!

Not great! Visited this week with friends as part of my husbands birthday celebrations. We’ve been here and other F&Bs often as we’ve always enjoyed them and they do a good range of gluten free food which my husband enjoys. Service wasn’t as good as normal, left at entrance while they set up a table in an almost empty restaurant. Music has changed so the atmosphere and whole theme of F&B wasn’t there. Our mains sat on the counter for ages waiting to be brought to us and our waiter walked past twice looking at them before going back to bring them to us - we even joked between us that we were going to get them ourselves. Food ok, but certainly not the standard we’ve had in the past. Very disappointed especially as my husband was looking forward to it and it was for his birthday. He told me afterwards he wouldn’t be rushing to go back. What a shame!

Used to be great but has gone downhill fast. Arrived at 7 to a pre-booked table and had our order taken in good time. Starters arrived 10 minutes after we ordered them which was fine. Then sat and waited for 40 minutes for the main course to arrive, eventually asked the waitress what was going on and over heard the chef's say they would start it now! An hour and 5 minutes after we arrived we finally received our main order with no apologies. Food was great though and got a discount for the wait. Restaurant wasn't busy at all

Unless you want to wait over an hour even when it’s only half full and be served by miserable staff give it a miss. Food ok.

My daughter’s 17th birthday and her choice of venue...

There was good and bad -



The bad: the sirloin steak I ordered was so tough I could barely saw through it with the steak knife, so I sent it back. There were no more sirloin steaks so I agreed to a rump steak as a replacement. Sadly, this was equally as poor, so I had to leave it.



The good: our waitress was excellent; dealt with the steak situation brilliantly (not her fault it was poor) and was very friendly and efficient. She made sure that I was not charged for my meal without me having to make a fuss. She also sorted a cupcake with candles for my daughter and a brownie for each of the 4 of us whilst the restaurant sang Happy Birthday . Everyone else’s food was lovely. Nice atmosphere, although not condusive to a quiet meal, if that was what you were after.

Mixed grill, chicken was dry and unappetising. Steak was tough, despite being rare...



Woke up with an upset stomach this morning.



Always wanted to try it, won't be hurrying back.

fish was vile.baked yesterday i would imagine.chips were ok.happy guy serving us was the good point.didn't bother complaining just wont go again

What a complete and utter act of clowns. Went on Wednesday and had the worst service and experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my entire life. Waiter comes over and takes our drink order and I ask for fish and chips. They didn’t have any so I go back to the menu and he takes 15 minutes before coming back. I ask for a hotdog and surprise surprise... the don’t have any. He leaves us again and 10 minutes late he returns and I ask for sirloin steak... NONE! We leave wondering what kind of operation this clown factory are running and question why our drinks never even materialised after all that time!!!



Never ever going back to F&B’s!

Visited here on bank holiday for a quick lunch with my mum. The waiter that served us kept calling me and my 50 year old mother ‘girl’ totally inappropriate. He had to take our order 3 times because the machine broke and he couldn’t remember it. I got given the wrong salad was then given the right one but it had chips mixed in it?! My mums avocado wrap was brown and slimy in the middle and chips were stone cold. Oh and to top it of the waiter knocked a whole bottle of vinger over my mum with no lid on. You couldn’t write how awful it was. Really disappointed as always had fantastic time at any other frankie and bennys. The only saving grace was the lady on front of house was more than apologetic and so lovely. Sorry frankie and bennys we won’t be back.

I appreciate it's a new system but when you select a time to pick the food you ordered up, i thought it would have been ready around that time. Not 20 minutes later when it was clearly just being cooked when we came to collect it. Also paid for extra toppings on a burger, got it home to see that the topping hadn't been added at all. Very disapointed.

Ordered the mixed grill. Ribs looked & tasted like something I wouldn't even give to my dog. Asked for a well done steak & got medium rare. Defiantly the worst mixed grill I've ever had. Might want to train your staff in learning how to smile too, doesn't cost anything.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this was so bad I had to. My partner and I had the mac & cheese calzone, it wasn't mac & cheese at all! It was just plan pasta with a bit of cheese in it, also there was very little pulled pork in it.

Worst meal I've had for a very long time and I certainly won't be going back!!! And just to top things off I came out £40 down. Just dreadful!

Gone downhill fast visited on a quiet Wednesday evening with 3 kids one kids meal completely missing and arrived when the rest of us had nearly finished but not before it had been taken and put on another table and then recollected and given to us refused to replace it although the food could of been touched by others and the corn looked half eaten disgusting

Food was awful , waiter was rude wait was very long . Will not be returning any time soon !!!

Dropped in today for a meal with my wife after being in Exeter. Will never go back !! Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for a pizza that was crispier than a kettle crisp and a normal bit of steak and chips. Waiter was rude and said they were getting use to a new menu !! It’s a bloody pizza � not exactly hard to cook lol. They weren’t busy I guess about 4 other tables when we arrived, now know why as the food was awlful. Could go on but you get the message.... avoid !!
