£44.00 for a family of four at lunchtime. Had great meals and didn't have to wait long, which was good for our 4 year old! Our waitress was fantastic and couldn't have done more for us. Great value for money and service.

Great family meal yesterday the family feast is great value for money

Great Breakfasts and super service. Only grumble I would say is big breakfast should come with free � (tea).

Service a bit slow, a few staff members didn’t know what they were doing. They had 4 birthdays in so it was very busy. A long wait for food but it was definitely worth the wait as was really tasty and piping hot. One waitress was a bit cocky and thought she was in charge but it was quite clear she wasn’t the manager.

I visited the Gloucester Frank & Benny's with my family of 7 as a treat or in my case,an escape from the dreaded wedding day outfits shopping.

Not mine,tried that twice!!

Our waitress 'Bridget' was very busy, but polite and the venue was rapidly filling up.

Our drinks arrived quite quickly and then most of our food.

My daughter had to ask where the rest of her food was as some had been left in the kitchen in error.

A genuine mistake and we could see Bridget was very much in demand.

However,our food was very good quality,very over priced though for value in all honesty.

The venue,could do with more staff at peak times and i will call again,but not go out of my way to..... sorry,but the price is the key there,even with a proclaimed 50% off mains.

For those prices,i would expect much higher standards all round.

One waiteress rudely interruptered our waiteress while she was taking our order, batherooms were dirty and had no soap! All in all a horrible place to have a family meal out that costs a good few pounds..Will never go again!

Too be honest this was the second time we decided to go even after the last time we went wasnt great sadly nothings changed the place was heaving and staff scarce.

We ordered our starter got that straight away we ordered our main at the same time , the main came 30 minutes after the starter i had cod and chips the batter was like concerete and peas like bullets and not very hot..

My wife had what should have had chicken and prawn alfredo that was totally wrong she got some pasta dish a bit of chicken and some salami ham if we hadnt of waited so long for our food we would have sent it back..

This used to be a good place to eat but sadly not now .

Service at start would have been a 5 but after we had our food we had no service I had to go to the bar half way through my food for a drink which meant my food was going cold. I had to ask for my daughter's desert and we didn't get offered dessert at all will not be returning to this Frankie and Bennie's any time soon. Asked for a discount on my partners food and got threatened by the manager. Got no people skills at all. Also I should have read the reviews 1* most of this year Frankie and Bennie's you want to be ashamed surely there's something wrong

Well frankie and bennys you really have NOT done yourself proud. So where do I start..... me and my partner decide to come and eat at your restaurant granted it was busy but my god even my dog wouldn’t be able to chew your steak! So that got sent back. We then gave you the benefit of the doubt and after 1 complaint and a £10 voucher we chose to eat with you again, this was again a utter disaster the Bolognese may as well been vegetarian with the lack of meat and after telling us it’s out a packet that also got sent back, it’s clear to say we won’t be back, sort it out!

Ultimate mixed grill was anything but, steak was over cooked, chicken had to be cut by a steak knife as it was burnt, missing the onion rings, had to send it back, after waiting 45 minutes for our food, had to ask the waitress where it was she was clueless, refused to wait another 45 minutes for another one so had to share my partner's birthday meal pizza.



We ordered a second set of drinks which the order was lost we had to wait for the waitress to come back and ask where they were about 10 minutes after our order.



Waitress then interrupted us while we were eating our dessert (best part of the food) to ask for our code to process the bill, IV never EVER been asked by a waitress to process the bill! What if we had wanted more drinks! Absolutely rude! She then came back and asked after we had finished if we were paying cash or card, I said cash, got my wallet out and she walked off and served 4 tables! I had to get a manager to then get her to come back, with now apology from either manager or waitress! Absolutely vile service (as a manager myself I am appalled that the obvious lack of training!)



Will not be coming back.



As a small note not sure if you do them any more but we used to get dough balls before our meal but didn't get offered any, a shame.

The worse Classic Caesar salad ever. Good job I added chicken as an extra otherwise it would have just been lettuce with soggy bread, no cheese or croutons as described on menu! Lettuce was dry so asked for extra Caesar dressing, apparently none available so given vinaigrette! Hardly a classic �

Thank you for ruining Father’s Day. Was told half hour wait. An hour later, we were told would be atleast 20 mins as it was “busy” � it was dead and everyone was waiting for food!

We have come every Father’s Day since we had our son & my husband looks forward to it every year! Well our 5 year tradition is over! Service awful & well we never got to food!

Only given one star as you can’t give no star!!! We have visited your your restaurant for the past 6 years. We have brought along friends and family and introduced them to your restaurant. However, on today’s visit we were extremely disappointed. We came for my sons and nieces birthday and were greeted with a soulless restaurant! The music was awful and was more like a rubbish holiday park than the old nostalgic Frankie and Benny’s we love. There is no Italian in the toilets, the menu is lacking any fandb magic and the staff look like they need to have the hotline to the Samaritan’s. We asked for our food to be put in takeaway boxes as we would have rather eaten our food in the car than the mixed identity restaurant you have formed. If you are modernizing the restaurant then so be it, but the legends of our past deserve more than to be hung up and displayed in a restaurant that has decided it wants to distance itself from them. We are thoroughly disappointed with our visit today and no amount of discount has made us feel any better about our visit. Unless fandb returns to its former self we will never return and that actually makes me sad to say as it feels like and end to an era.

No option for zero stars!!! Took my daughter and 8 of her friends there last night for her birthday, along with 7 other family members. Table booked for 6pm. I got my food at 6.45pm - stewed pasta and hard, tasteless meatballs! My daughter and partner got theres at 7.15pm. Her partners food went back as the mushrooms were hard as nails and bounced off the table and his steak wasnt done to how he asked for it. At 7.30pm, all the party children and others in our group, had still NOT received their food! The parents were picking their kids up at 8pm!!! Absolutely appauling service! Cancelled everything, rounded up everyone and walked the kids over to McDonalds for food!!! Although they still made me pay for mine and my daughters food!!!! My daughter was sick all night (she had salmon). The birthday girl was so upset and disappointed that her birthday party was ruined! 3 chefs in the kitchen and not even busy!!! Disgusted!! Will NEVER go there again!!! ����

Most disappointing birthday lunch. A waitress that didn't smile once, the chocolate brownie that my daughter couldn't cut through (not the first time this has happened) and literally one hour and 45 minutes until we obtained our dessert and we are told that we can only park the car for an hour and a half, well we never would have imagined we would need to be at Frankie & Benny's for 2 hours for a burger and dessert when we arrived at 12.00pm and there were only a few people in there!
