Who's joining us for Lionel Richie at the Gardens tonight??

User

Visited from Macclesfield on the off chance of looking at our fab teams ground. Staff were exceptional and let us see the grounds. Very impressed. Shop was open so managed a few souvenirs. Again friendly professional staff. One day we will get to see the saints play live!! Go saints!!!

User

Season ticket holders love the family atmosphere. Food good but as you'd expect a little dearer & we drink before get to ground as queue, price & choice is poor. Why 5 stars because we know what to expect & sort ourselves out as we know it's unlikely to change drinks wise, but it doesn't spoil the day.

User

I'm a season ticket holder and love coming to the ground and watching the game. My only problem is with the bar staff been so slow and on Saturday when asking for a large for him to say is that a Guinness.

User

I love going to the saints as a season ticket holder I get to see great rugby

But on a sour note if you want something to eat or drink I suggest you get it before you go into the ground total rip off 6£ for a burger and 5£ for a pint as a pensioner I simply can't afford these prices

User

I am a season ticket holder and proud of it ,in the last 9 years that I have been so I have never missed a single home game,I think supporting the team is so important win loose draw I will be there, the ground is wonderful the best in the premier league, prices of drink and food are high, but you find this everywhere, the players and management are so easy to talk to ,they will always stop and talk and sign things for you,

User

Franklin's Gardens feels like a second home to us, it has an excellent atmosphere and excellent facility's. When venturing onto other rugby clubs forums it is common to hear them echo these comments. Not so long ago Franklin's Gardens won the premiership fans best away venue. Highly recommended - Ash, from Cambridge.

User

Fabulous place as well as having a great team , people need to know the club do so much more ... My Children have taken part in the Saints Study Centre run by Pete and many others . It's a great place for the children to learn in a fun way ...and the children get so much out of it .. Thank you to all involved, I would recommend it to all Parents/Carers .

User

Congratulations for the Organisation of the concert ! And for the safety to let People stand and enjoy LR far much better than the O2 arena

User

The Lionel Ritchie concert was fantastic and fab venue, however the car parking was disorganised , we had pre paid for parking and no one outside could tell us where we had to park , eventually one person advised us to drive up past the football ground , it was not signposted very well at all . It took 30 minutes to get to venue and 40 mins to find pre-paid parking . I had heard about the drinks stand running out of wine and beer before 830pm so was not stocked well for a concert .Apart from this it was a great night .

User

It's an excellent stadium but pre pouring beer affects the quality massively. Slow bar service after the game and early closing of the bar and food outlets in the village left me just going and sitting in the car in the car park and watching the traffic not move for an hour.

User

I am a season ticket holder and love going to watch my team, however trying to get served at the bar is a joke! 25 mins to get served! There were only 8 people in front if me, i missed kick off! If they paid trained bar staff that can pour beer with a bit of get up & go, they could get away with having half the staff, certainly needs to improve before next season or i will take my own

User

As a visiting Harlequins s supporter it is a great ground, very friendly and welcoming and a super atmosphere.

As with other reviewers, the issue that lets the club down is the service delivery relating to sale of beer. This appears to be an issue at most of the Premiership Grounds. I still don't understand the reason behind the cup deposit scheme , which is not easy to manange with large crowds - seems to be a good revenue earner by stealth!

Great day out though!!

User

Watched a great game there, good venue with plenty of concessions for food and merchandise. But unfortunately the traffic was diabolical that day as the football and circus was also on the same day and caused total gridlock to sixfields. Took me over an hour to get there going round the other way. Took people going towards sixfields a lot longer.

User

Very welcoming ground, great family atmosphere. Really enjoyed our visit to watch the prem rugby 7's, but the prices of everything! Ridiculously expensive food and drink. Signposting to the actual (not the bingo hall) car parking needs to be drastically improved. A fiver for parking isn't too bad, better than the tenner at the AJ Bell.

User

Lionel Richie was a class act, that there is no doubt and we did have a fab night. However Franklin Gardens, you need to sort out your bars if you are going to hold a music concert. We were in the floored seating DD2 which was fine, however there was just a tiny little kiosk selling lager, wine or cider. We queued for ages and then were told they had run out of all and this was before Lionel came on stage! We then had to walk over to the other side of the stadium to the 'Village' and there were huge queues there as well. Took us absolutely ages to get just one drink. the food stalls were fantastic but there were massive queues for some of those as well as they also sold beers and that's what people were mainly queuing for. The stalls that didn't sell beers were empty which was such a shame as we had the noodles and they were amazing. The stewards and security staff were brilliant and joined in the fun, however Franklin Gardens bar situation was not geared up for a music concert and they need to look at this again.

User

Great stadium, fantastic atmosphere and the food outlets in the Village are fantastic. BUT trying to get a beer is a absolute joke I'm afraid 😡To que longer than the 1/2 time period is not on. Just kids behind the bars who have no idea on what they are doing. For the smiling of money spent at the bars the service has to be better.

User

Shocking bar staff and service!

User

It is such a shame the bar service spoilt the experience.... The cost of the ticket SHOULD have meant MUCH BETTER organisation. I have been to so many festivals and gigs over the years and this was THE WORST I have EVER experienced. The management made us wait AN HOUR to be served, in that heat too!!! Practically negligent I’d say. Lionel was Fantastic, but he was let down too. I Doubt is go back for a concert to be honest. Really Really disappointed!

User

Can’t get served as bar staff are busy daydreaming with a stadium full of thirsty customers. Looking at an hour wait to get a drink!
