Greetings from all at Fred's bookshop in the heart of the English Lake District. We are a small independent bookshop, situated in Ambleside and have been trading for over 50 years. We stock an eclectic range of titles, from classics to climbing; geology to theology; walking books to talking books, as well as bestselling novels, current non-fiction, a huge selection of children's books, and of course local interest and maps.
