Freedom Church is an independent evangelical church and as a member of the Evangelical Alliance shares a common basis of faith together with some 2 million Evangelical Christians in the UK. We are also connected through relationship with the Christian Growth International network of churches and associated ministries.

As a local church congregation we have a married couple as our Senior Leaders, plus a Core Team, who make the strategic leadership decisions. These are overseen by a small team of Elders who are also the legal trustees for the church as a registered charity.

Leadership seeks to operate through consultation and consensus with the body of the church under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
