About Freesoles Dance
Freesoles Dance is an established IDTA dance school based in East Yorkshire, teaching a range of dance styles to children 2 + all the way up to adults.
Freesoles Dance Description
Freesoles dance is an established dance school based in Hessle, East Yorkshire, offering a range of dance and performance training. We teach pupils from two years old through to adults. We offer children’s dance classes in ballet, tap, modern jazz, musical theatre, gymnastic dance, street dance and freestyle. We also offer singing lessons aswell private coaching for competitions, exams and professional qualifications.
At Freesoles we believe in opportunity. We believe that all children should be given the opportunity to achieve their best and to develop their talent as individuals in a supportive and friendly environment. All children are given equal opportunities to study the dance styles they enjoy and learn in the best way for them. All children are given the opportunity to take part in performance work, to take exams and achieve awards and to take part in competition work.
We believe that high quality teaching is important and make sure all our teaching staff are well qualified, with continuing professional development opportunities. All our staff are also appropriately trained in Safeguarding and hold full CRB checks.
Above all, at Freesoles we believe that dancing should be fun. That as well as achieving results, competing and performing our pupils should have the opportunity to be creative, to make friends and to enjoy their time with us. We are keen to work in an inclusive and individual way to make sure that every child achieves their best and enjoys dancing and performing and are keen that no child should ever be left out or left behind.
We believe that dancing is a skill that can be enjoyed through out life and continue to offer classes for adults as well as children ranging from short courses and taster sessions in different dance styles for beginners through to professional coaching, teaching qualifications and competition work for advanced dancers.
We believe that there is a dance style for everyone.

I've just finished the running order and costume list for nutcracker, 225 costumes for 101 dancers!! If you/ your child will not be taking part on 30th November please please let us know ASAP as the organisation for this is massive and we need to place and costume all dancers correctly from the off to make this work and avoid any last minute changes. As you will know it is so important for their health & wellbeing to replenish fluids lost throughout the day, especially since children do not sweat in the way we do to cool down 💧💧💧

We started work on our brand new syllabus work today in acro as well as moving on with our nutcracker practice

We're busy this week liaising with Middleton Hall staff to finalise our timetable for the day.
Work has already started in classes, so please let us know in writing if your child cannot perform on 30th November. It is really important that we know well in advance so that choreography can be set properly and pupils have enough time to learn it and feel confident performing. Thank you 💜
This year's new CDMT certificate. We dont always get the small stuff right, we might miss a step every now and again, but we do our absolute best on the big stuff. This certificate is for all the serious stuff, the health and safety, safeguarding, training, safe teaching methods... . The stuff that matters to keep your children not just dancing but safe and happy. ALL our staff are as a minimum dance graduates and all hold IDTA specialist teaching qualifications and all do teacher training updates regularly and study for further specialisms as well as training in the important basics such as safeguarding and first aid (and yep I Am super proud of how hard they all work)
