Freeway Car & Van Hire

We hire Luton band from Freeway on a regular basis and the service and the staff at Loughborough are very good. Chris and Andy are friendly and efficient. Their prices are very competitive and so we continue to use them.

Picked up a ford transit Friday afternoon for a weekend deal pick up times and drop off were ideal. Really friendly staff genuine company Chris on reception service was faultless. Shall be returning :)

I've just recently hired a vehicle from the Loughborough Branch at Freeway and found their prices are very competitive. The level of service provided by their staff was exceptional, faultless and thorough throughout from start to finish. The van was also in good condition and very, very clean as well. There's not many rental companies that would take digital photographic images with latest technology of the vehicle condition on checkout, and particularly in front of the customer. In my opinion, this clearly shows that Freeway are willing to go the extra mile and beyond by ensuring piece of mind for their customers at all times, in which they won't be charged for any existing damage that may be already on the vehicle itself. On returning the vehicle, the check-in process was carried out professionally in my presence, my deposit was refunded without any hesitation or problems. Overall, a genuine and honest company with an outstanding experience. Freeway will definitely be highly recommended to others without a doubt and I will be using them again in the near future.

They advertise vans they later admitted to me they don't even have on their fleet - yet still advertise them, take bookings online and payment for them. Then when challenged on collection - become aggressive. I ended up having to take a larger van - unsuitable for the job I needed it - or face cancelling the job. When I returned the van that evening they then created spurious claims I had changed the wing-mirror!!? They are vile, shady and use underhand bullying tactics to attempt to extort clients. They didn't succeed with me - but don't risk it, and don't use them. They'll no doubt now say they need more information to follow up this complaint - which you may notice they seem to say to all complaints here. So don't worry chaps, I've handed all that information onto the Advertising Standards Agency and Trading Standards. Other, more reputable, firms are available - give them your money and custom instead.

In my experience I was very pleased with the price and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about any type of Van hire. Would definitely recommend Freeway to anyone in Loughborough without any hesitation. Not sure why there is some bad reviews although they are very old ones.
