FRESCO is a band based in Manchester who blend older funk and soul music with a contemporary pop sound. Members George Hewett, Sam Harding, Tom Knight, Sam Capper and Joe Stott both met and currently study at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music, starting the band and embarking on their first tour within 3 months there. The band take strong influence from funk bands like Vulfpeck and Brother Strut; these influences along with their love for great pop music like the Jackson 5, Marianas Trench and McFly creates a really unique sound. With choruses to sing to, grooves to dance to and an energetic stage presence, this 5-piece is putting the soul back into pop music.
