Yet another fab time at freshwater. Everywhere spotlessly clean from showers and toilets to swimming pool and bar areas. Staff are all polite and helpful. Can’t thank Jess , Simon and Brandon from the entertainment team enough for making my daughters and their cousins and friends weekend. We are already planning our next stay in the summer.

What a fabulous find.

This place is amazing. They have a private beach, indoor pool with lots for the kids, an outdoor pool with inflatable obstacles twice a week. The shop, Restaurant and takeaways are reasonably priced and all the staff we have met are lovely!

We visited initially in 2016 and then twice in 2017. August and then again in October. We were not disappointed!!

The entrance is down a steep incline (which is worth a run up if you’re taking a tourer on the way out), but the site itself is relatively flat. The facilities are spotless. Showers, toilets on the touring areas are manned pretty much 24/7. There is plenty of space and it is well staffed throughout. The beach is a lovely walk, plenty of space for bike riding, kite flying, playing with balls etc. The fully service fed pitches are excellent, although if you have a full size awning, you do cut down on your ‘green space’. The on-site facilities are excellent too. The indoor pool, slides and splash water areas are great. Water guns for the kids to fire too � ... baby pool as well as a full size swimming pool that is chest height for the average height person. There is also a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Plenty of life guards. The changing areas are spacious for family changing and showers are communal. Lovely and warm too. The outdoor pool was lovely and warm, lots to of places to sit etc. The on-site bowling alley is large, airey & separate to the restaurant / bar but you can take drinks in there. Although the site is large, nothing was ever crowded as there was so much going on. There are also two very large dog walking areas which suited both my dachshund and Weimaraner with the ability to run in a safe enclosed area. We’ve already booked to come back in August, else my 5y old will never let me forget it. Highly recommended.

We have children ageing from 3-15 and the is something for everyone to do to make this holiday relaxing and enjoyable. The park is extremely clean and tidy at all times. The shop caters for the basic needs. The entertainment available is varied to all ages from the swimming pools and hot tubs to arcades and bowling with evening entertainment for everyone. Great location to explore Dorset.

We did go to Sandford for a long time then we found freshwater and now it our number one holiday and the staff are friendly and welcoming to you and the facilities are amazing to walk along the beach it’s nice and there is plenty to do even when the site is full

Very clean, well kept, amazing beach, small clean river for the kids to swim in, nice and big and rather warm swimming pool and fairly big play ground, huge soccer field, very helpful and kind stuff, stunning view, many trips to take, bus stop 5 minutes walk away, next cute village is only 30minutes walk away, on the top of the cliffs or along the beach. Best place for kids and best campsite we've been to in England. Highly recommend it!

The kids never got bored as there was entertainment during the day and fun for all of an evening. Staff very friendly and fun. Hoping to book again next May school holiday. Highly recommend �����

Lovely swim with granddaughter and hot chocolate and blue slushy on the terrace in the sun afterwards. Not forgetting the lemon biscuits that were delicious. Staff were brilliant. Lifeguard congratulated my granddaughter on swimming a length of the pool and bar staff said a big thanks for her taking her cup in from the terrace. Encouraged a 6yr old to do it again.!!

Lovely park, good food, great entertainment, toilet and shower blocks are kept very clean, the showers are very powerful and you can choose the temperature and there is a fantastic shop on site that has everything and anything. Will definitely be coming back!

It’s a lovely site that has its own private beach, the site is kept spotlessly clean, especially in the toilet and shower blocks. I didn’t have young children with me, but they are well catered for on this site. I would highly recommend this site.

I always enjoyed everything about Freshwater it has everything you need for a family holiday, it is a clean well kept friendly site with fun entertainment and swimming pools, exercise and play areas, catering and a shop, and the sea and shore areas right on the Jurassic Coast . I used to own a Static caravan there, I only wish it had a 12 mth area then i would choose to live there. one day perhaps x

Absolutely loved it. From the minute we arrived we were greeted and taken care of. Haven't had treatment like this in ages..the staff from the shop, bar to entertainment have 'all been so welcoming and lovely..think we have found a gem of a place here... thanks again and we will deffo be back.. looking forward to tomorrow and we don't wanna leave on Monday.. but we will be back xxx��

We have just arrived home after a 3 night break here in our tent. The site is in a great location next to the beach, we visited the beach on our first day which luckily was hot and sunny but unfortunately had to leave after 20 mins due to being bitten and driven crazy by sand flies!

The shower block and toilets are spotlessly clean with great power showers!

Our kids thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. We had a game of bowling one evening which was let down a bit by the very miserable member of staff who didn’t say one word or even made eye contact when we were paying and also didn’t let us know that our small children could opt to have the barriers up in the lanes, cue upset kids as the balls went down the gulleys until a male member of staff kindly sorted the barriers for us!

The first night here we almost had the site to ourselves it was very quiet then we had 2 nights of disturbance from our new neighbors who were shouting, swearing and playing loud music till 11pm. The reception was shut so we had no way to speak to anyone about this.

All in all we still had a lovely time exploring the beautiful area and would probably return.

Lovely place goid pools,nice toilet wnd showers tge biggest and cleanest i seen.Only major thing is the price of drinks in bar,unbelievable stupid price,£5.50 for pint of lager REALLY,dearest lager i have ever bought and they wonder why club house waS empty.Drop prices more people will come

Just returned from a week in a static. Holiday was going great but be warned they allow single group bookings, hence there was party of 15 men in the 2 vans behind us. They were singing and running round the site till 3am! I did inform security only to find the security guard joining in the party!!!

we have been coming hear for 13 years..i have never experianced having to wait to get into the pool for 40 mins because it is still.being open to the public and the pool was full personaly i think holiday makers and owners should have priority and the whole holiday our electrics was tripping out on the whole of D field very disappointed as we spent most of our hols complaining and ring the out of ours emergency number or running to reception and the holiday wasnt cheap either.

Not even arrived but disappointed already! Have booked to camp (which we knew was a risk) and due to bad weather predicted rang to upgrade to a static. As we are there four nights they can’t help as all the four night statics are booked. They have free statics for seven nights but they can’t be used for four nights! Complete lack of flexibility. Shame they loose out as we will just go for one night and spend no money in their facilities.

The site is in a lovely setting, however, guests who enjoy getting drunk and calling each other the "C" word, as well as references to child abuse are not dealt with. Last night a drunken couple were guilty of the above. When management were informed this morning we we reassured that they would be leaving today (as it was their check-out day). However, when we returned from a day out, imagine our disgust to find them still on site. The duty management said that they had apologised and then asked to stay another night. Despite their deplorable activities until 4.00am, they were allowed to stay, when any respectable site would have told them no. So, basically, if you want to be drunk and rowdy, this is the site for you! Not the site to take your grandkids to.
