Yesterday the peace of our beautiful walled garden was banished for the day as we hosted our organisation wide annual water fight - It was great for everyone to get together, good fun was had by all and we are sure the grass appreciated the water as well!
A Huge thank you to all who came for our Fete on Saturday - it was a great success, with over £950 raised plus £280 on plant sales! - Big thanks especially to Wendy, Ron, Stuart and the family, and her army of volunteers, who set up, welcomed people and ran stalls - you are amazing!
Preparations for the fete continue - in the kitchen Jackie and the cooking crew have made 75 lbs of jam! - here are Bertie and Kim showing off some of their hard work with some of the crafts we will have on sale.

Only four days to go! Please share our event with your friends and family. Parking will be available on the The Ridge and at the rear of our site. The entrance is off Elphinstone Road, turn into De Chardin Drive, immediate turn left into Ore Place and follow signs for old St.Helens Church. Parking in our lane is limited,prioritised for disability.
Here's the Muffin Club getting ready for their Annual Summer Party here at Friary Gardeners this Sunday 2 -4.30pm. Lots to do so come and enjoy our lovely garden in the summer sunshine!! We have a plant stall in the garden but the nursery won't be open
Congratulations to our photographers once again - at the Mencap mid sussex photo competition this year Sam won 3 prizes - a highly commended, third place in portrait, 4th in general, and David C reached 4th in the portrait section with this brilliant snap of Michaela!

We still have two more open weekends and lots more plants to choose from - including friendly pansies and velvet petunias, planted up baskets and pots - These 10 baskets are off to Ore in Bloom today with more to follow!

Although we are open at weekends- until 3rd June we do not open on Bank Holiday Monday.
Friary Gardeners will be open from this weekend from 9 am to 1pm We open every weekend from now up to and including June 3rd. Come along and get your summer bedding! Lots of perennials outside as well as vegetables,trees,roses and shrubs. We will have tea,coffees and cake available most weekends. See you soon!

This place is incredible! Vast array of plants, knowledgeable staff who are very welcoming and let my son feed the fish in the pond in their beautiful garden! Lovely being able to wander round the garden and we were even given drinks and cake! Will be our go-to place for plants from now on!
Lovely sunny morning spent at Friary Gardeners. Good plants at a reasonable prices. Well worth the visit.
I really love friary gardners because being with all of my friends and the customers and the staff are really fantastic what they have done at friary gardners i will score the staff 100 out of 100 for the best fantastic plant sale at the weekend thank you �
