Friends Of Constable Street Field

A page for all those interested in helping to create a friendly, safe and useful green area for everyone in the community on Constable Street Field Hull.

This group has been set up to help maintain, develop and improve the area known as "Constable Street Field" for the benefit of the local community and beyond! The field itself is situated between Constable and Wellsted Street off Hessle Road on the street behind Boyes'. We are working with fellow residents, local community and environmental groups, local businesses and anyone who has an interest in it to improve the field itself. It has been fortunate timing in that our ideas coincide with the current refurbishment of the area. We are aiming to create a clean and safe environment for local people and wildlife to enjoy. We want to help create and maintain a natural community green space from which everyone might benefit. Anyone with an interest in the field; local residents, ex-residents, ex-pupils, environmental groups, urban greenspace interest groups, etc are all welcome as members, either in an advisory or more hands-on way. We are a strictly non-political group and all views and opinions are taken into consideration. It's up to you what happens! Tell your friends! Come join in the fun! Meetings held regularly (every 3weeks at the mo) and details and updates will be posted on here from now on.
