Friends Of Wateringbury Church Description
The Friends of Wateringbury Church are a locally-based small charity which aims to help to maintain, preserve and improve the building and churchyard of St John the Baptist in Wateringbury. Providing resources to do this will allow the church to develop its community work in the parish. The Friends are managed by a committee of volunteers and are independent from the Parochial Church Council.
Anyone can become a Friend of Wateringbury Church, even if they aren’t churchgoers or even living in the parish. Perhaps you may value the building, its history and traditions, or just feel it’s important for the village to keep the church in good condition. Our overall aim is to help the church maintain its role at the heart of our village.
