FRIP Launch Window Lamination
FRIP Finishing the UK's leading specialist decorative print finisher would like to introduce our latest exciting new process Window Lamination. A first for the UK sheet-fed market Window Lamination is a revolutionary new way to display your product whilst keeping your packaging as eco friendly as possible. Window lamination is a film based process which reduces packaging waste. When applied internally the film creates a food safe barrier between the board and product so eliminating the need for bags, PE board or window patching. When applied externally the film decoratively enhances the pack and gives added protection to both product and packaging. Other notable benefits include the 100% recyclability, added pack security and production/cost benefits by comparison with single carton window patching. A wide range of film grades are available including food contact, heat sealable along with all standard options. The £700,000 investment has been installed into FRIP's Redditch facility to run alongside and compliment its existing die cutting and finishing processes. FRIP Group Managing Director Leslie Gibson commented "this revolutionary new process extends the boundries for both functional and decorative see through windows, not only does it bring significant benefits but it also allows for the opportunity to use multiple apertures of practicably any shape allowing for the window to become integral to the design of the packaging and of the brand" FRIP has over 40 years experience in providing processes, special effects and traditional finishing services.
