Thank you to Fryers Roses, my mum and I had a lovely Afternoon Tea there on Tuesday. The sandwiches were great and the cakes were superb, especially the lemon mousse that was amazing.

The staff were also incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome - thank you.

.. and we were even allowed a doggy bag to take those cakes home we couldn't quite manage.

I took my Mum as a post Mothers day treat on Friday with my 2yo and 3 week old. We couldn't have had a better day!!! Every member of staff we spoke to was brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful and my 2yo had the tome of his life looking for stones and talking to people. We bought loads of plants and pots, all fantastic quality and excellently priced! We'll definitely be visiting again soon!

I love this places, A great place to visit I could spend ££££s if you love roses as much as I do then this is the place to go for them. My personal favourite: Liverpool remembers/beauty star. What a rose that is , & A must for any garden.

User

I had such a lovely day today, everone was so helpful and polite, the food was delicious and when we went into the garden to see the plants we were thrilled to bit as over the last 3 weeks we have visited several garden centres around the area but none stand out like Fryer's , all the plants look fresh and are well maintained. I shall definately be coming back soon.

User

I bought two roses earlier this year, sadly both failed. However, when I spoke to Louise in the rose department she couldn’t have been more helpful. I had already bought two replacement roses but Louise sorted out a refund for the originals. Absolutely excellent customer service & the replacement roses are thriving.

User

Hi,

Have to say we both thoroughly enjoyed the herb warm scones with cream cheese etc.especially at a very reasonable price as it included either a tea or coffee. Well done Rosary restaurant - we shall return. Thank you.

User

Had the full vegetarian breakfast, very nice indeed, service was second to none, only gripe was while paying, the teller searched all over my Scottish £20 trying to locate the word “Sterling” before proceeding with the payment. It’s something that really gets up the nose of most Scots, I’ve never questioned getting an English note in my change.

User

Gorgeous food, lovely service and great black coffee!

First time I have been here. Met up for lunch with cousins. I like the restaurant in that you don't queue up for your meal, your order is taken at the table. Good choice of food, which was nicely presented and hot. I enjoyed looking round the garden centre, everything was reasonably priced and good selection. Hope to visit again, although it is quite a distance from me.

User

Excellent service and food as always usually once a week

User

Small and compact with bargains in most sections. Plants etc are not overpriced and good value. Not so the restaurant, the staff extremely helpful and polite but the food does not come up to the prices but is reasonable. We visit regularly and always enjoy.

My husband and I had a lovely look round yesterday I was looking for a memorial rose for dad and found the perfect one .

While there I had a dizzy spell due to my diabetes and needed to sit down we went to the resturant and was seen to very quickly by a lovely young lady with dark hair who promptly knew something was wrong my husband asked if there was anything chocolate she brought us a brownie she was very helpful and polite.

We shall definitely be returning with my mum .

User

Lovely place lots of healthy plants, my only bug bear was the restaurant it was early morning so only wanted coffee the restaraunt had loads of empty tables and had to wait to be seated what's that all about in the morning?? Seems way over the top

User

Had tea and cakes. Service very quick even though they were busy. Cakes fresh and lovely. Seems to have improved from when I went last.

User

First time my husband and I have been. It's a lovely place and not too over priced got a couple of nice plants plus I had some money off vouchers which saved me £18 👍. Had something to eat in the restaurant but was disappointed with our meal although other meals that were coming out did look nice. We chose the cheese and onion pie which although was quite tasty the meal wasn't worth what we paid. We will eat again there but choose something different but the jenga chips are a must 😄

Looking forward to the next visit.

User

I cannot believe how unhelpful the staff were when l tried to buy an apple box, after saying that they did not have any l found one!! Then they would not sell it because it was for display & we have previously bought the same ! I will not go back which is a shame as we used to go regularly

User

Garden centre looked great all set up for Xmas and I did get some presents there but the cafe was a real let down ... I have seen better tables and chairs left by the roadside ripped and torn seats and cracked vanished table tops ... i ordered a tea cake that arrived on a plate so small I could not butter it properly and talking of the tea cake it was cold and the butter was solid so had to carve slices of it onto my tea cake ... real shame it really lets the place down
