Visited Fuego today for lunch with family. What a great experience... as soon as you enter the place you are transported to Latin America with super cool decor and funky music. The kids loved the experience as did they the food, full of flavour and great menu choice. We had tasty beef burritos and the Mofongo, which was a first! Service was superb, we're already looking forward to coming back for more Latin spice. Viva Fuego!

User

Very nice, definitely go back there again, 100% recommend. ..

User

Totally enjoyed the great food, and I love the flair.. Food was served very quick, it was tasty and the price was fair - I'll definetly come back!

User

My children & I had a delicious lunchtime feast here today. Amazing, flavourful food, a relaxed, homely atmosphere & great service. Thanks again!

User

It's the first time me and my husband visited this place since it was my burrito and I must say we both really enjoyed it. The staff was so nice and the food was amazing will definitely be back planning to bring some friends with us next time for them to try the food. I'm not one for writing reviews but thought fuego was worth it xx

User

Had a really lovely time in here this evening with my 9 years old son. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and just the right amount, the decor is great and the toilets spotless. And not only that but half price for kids food. We can't wait to come back ☺

User

Good food, good service, good prices.

User

Fantastic meal, excellent food something a little different and great customer service. Will definitely be returning

User

Fantastic flavours. Staff who really care about what you think and if you're enjoying yourself. Will definitely be back for more.

User

very good service and the staff were very obliging and helpful and friendly and very nice food

User

It was a great atmosphere, food was decent, lovely staff and a Great place to take someone!

Although the only downside is you don't exactly chose what goes inside your taco, burrito ect. I believe it would be a lot more convenient if they had a bar such as subway - where you see and chose exactly what goes into your meal!

That way it can suit every customers preference.

Thank you

Having been a fan of my burrito before me and my partner were keen to check out the rebranded fuego Quay. The king prawn tacos were fresh and delicious and the quesadillas were fantastic, however, the pueblo bean side dish was listed simply as "our in house signature" beans. As a pescatarian I was quite upset to discover this dish actually contained chorizo and accidentally ate some. This needs to be clearly advertised on the menu and I'm afraid it has coloured my opinion of the restaurant.

User

Turned up today looking for MyBurrito and eventually figured out that they'd revamped it. Looked a hell of a lot better inside and had a great atmosphere. The dude who served me was polite and informative. I saw that the burritos has most definitely gone up in price since I was last there so I expected something special!

I told him I was eating in and took a table. Food took around ten minutes to come and I was immediately disappointed. It was wrapped up as if ready to take away and then just placed on a plate. The whole £6.35 worth was about half the size of my hand. The actual food was tasty and could have been a little hotter

Really glad that you've made everything look great. Just a shame the food's gone up in price and down in quality.

User

Really nothing to write home about. Friday night, not exactly busy, but having to ask for cutlery and food arriving in batches, not impressed. Croquettes are nice but we won't be returning!

User

Real shame this place has changed. I love a good burrito and travel the UK with work so have tried various places. My Burrito which was the previous occupant was as good as a burrito got. Unfortunately everything about this place is wrong. You no longer choose your fillings, portions are smaller and you have to wait rather than the instant food as street food should be, quality is no where near as good either. Now just a branded imitation. Very disappointed.

User

few days ago I ordered a take away burrito,JUST CHICKEN BURRITO, just chicken is JUST CHICKEN, and one guy, puts in my burrito "PINTO BEANS" (are made with pork) ,this man lacked respect me,I 'm Muslim, I only ask RESPECT.I hope your boss FIRE him.

User

What the hell happened? When this place was 'My Burrito' I could not have said a bad word about it. The food was delicious, the service was great and everything got done quickly. My friends and I went to Fuego for lunch today and we all left really quite disappointed.

The burritos have gone up in price, sure, I can understand that, lots of places do that when they revamp, but that means the food has to be at least as good as before right?

Unfortunately it really isn't, you can no longer go along the counter as your food is prepared and specify exactly what you want in it, what is the point in having customisable burritos when you have no say in what goes in them?

As soon as I had said I would like a chicken tinga burrito, they whisked my order away, I was handed a wooden spoon and told to wait in the corner. They didn't ask what fillings I wanted, what salsa I preferred, or whether I wanted salad, guacamole or sour cream. Nothing. That is not the way to make burritos. My firends and I all ended up with randomly filled burritos, none of which were the way we would have specified.

Worse than that, 3 out of the 6 burritos we ordered were had completely the wrong fillings, my vegetarian friend had to take his back when he realised it was full of chicken, and when you've asked for meat, I do not think sweet potato is an adequate substitute.

Also why is the salsa not put INSIDE the burrito any more? What the hell are you guys thinking? Burritos are NOT dipping food. They just fall apart. Speaking of which, the burritos we had today were all poorly wrapped and leaking sauce everywhere. How hard is it to wrap food in other food?

It took almost twice as long as it used to to get our food, I was in there for over 30 minutes to get a take away burrito. That is unacceptable.

Finally, and maybe I'm being just a little picky here, but you only offer 3 drinks with your lunch time meal? Coke, diet coke and sprite. You used to have so many more! There was ginger beer, dandelion and burdock, Rio (the best drink in the world). For shame.

In summary, Fuego is (at the moment) a hollow shell of what it used to be. I will go back one more time in a week or two (to give them time to get their shit together), but if it's not as good as it used to be I will not be coming back after that. Nor will most of the 30+ people in my office.

To be fair, the decor is nicer now.

User

My partner and I are vegetarian, we both ordered vegetarian meals, not used to having to inspect my food before I eat it, I tucked in only to find halfway through that I was eating chorizo. When we complained we were met with a feeble "sorry" and then they plonked down £3.50 on the table as compensation. They didn't even offer to replace the meal with what I had originally ordered. They did honour our request of a full refund at the end but I do feel that this should have been offered to us in the first place and we shouldn't have had to ask. As customers they did not make it easy for us, and I feel did not fully appreciate the extent of emotional trauma they put me through, given that that is the first time I've eaten meat in twenty years. Sorry Fuego, but I think your customer service skills and lack of empathy needs considerable work.
