The teaching is outstanding and eclectic paying due respect to the past whilst exploring the evolutionary aspects of martial systems and arts. Never standing still always moving forward! Bravo Mr Ian Thomas sensei!
My son trained at this dojo with Ian as his instructor from age 7 to 15. He went 2 or 3 times a week he loved it. No finer place to train no better instructor . My son went away on seminars and courses and went up to black belt and only left to chase skirt lol. He now lives and works abroad and i beleive this was a good grounding for him to set him up in life
Anyway i cant recommend Ian enough
Try it for yourself or child
Peace all
Me and my son have only just started but we feel very happy and comfortable .Ian is a great teacher, who doesn't put pressure on you so you can learn at your own pace , plus his other students are always willing to help which is great
Ian Thomas has lots of experience in traditional martial arts and modern self-defense systems. Good technique, great teacher, nice person, fun training.
I'm fairly new to training at Full Circle and right from the start I was made to feel welcome by everyone. The instructor is very professional and knows what he's doing, the technique taught is in depth and incredibly applicable to real situations. For anyone who enjoys keeping fit and learning to defend themselves I would highly recommend it!
I have trained with many martial arts instructors over the years, and I have to say there are only 2 that I can can say inspired me and amazed me with their skill of the arts and their amazing ability to teach, my first is the great sensei Colin Williams (who I first trained with and massively respect) who has now sadly passed away.
Then there is sensei Ian Thomas was has over the passed 40 odd years managed to master many different disciplines, spending many years training in Japan, also having the ability to explain and teach martial arts in an easy to understand and a traditional way. He now has to be one of the best instructors of martial arts in the UK
I have met Ian Thomas four years ago. He is a very skilful and pedagogue teacher. He shares his knowledge of both modern and traditional martial arts in a friendly but studious atmosphere.
I appreciated its personalized advices to help me improve my own skills.
Great gang of people led by a sensei with years of experience
Great fun, the best martial arts in chester
