We have been raising money for the past year for North West Blood Bikes Lancs & Lakes and are thrilled that we have raised £2,159.54. Blood Bikes provides an out of hours motorcycle delivery service, which supports the NHS in saving lives. Donations such as ours goes to help running this service and making such a difference to the lives of people within the area. This is a hospital that puts the needs of the patient first. All the staff listen to what I have to say. I was admitted about lunch time on Monday for a knee replacement. I was very worried, as when undergoing previous surgery I was very sick with medication. I cannot praise more highly the efforts of Peter the anaesthetist. He made me feel comfortable, controlled my pain post surgery, and generally it felt like it was his mission to ensure I suffered no ill effects from the medication. I have been visited daily by Mr Canty my surgeon, he has given me sound advice for my ongoing recovery. All the nursing staff are kind considerate and helpful. The physio also visited daily putting me through my paces and giving me valuable advice. In summary, given that I was in hospital, I think I have had the best possible treatment from the outset. I'm going home tommorow, so a big thank you to all for making my stay a pleasant one. PS the soup is amazing.

Great staff and a wonderful consultant MR RAY RADFORD. Cataract surgery/lens implant on both eyes has given me back near perfect vision. All completely painless. Cannot thank Fulwood Hall enough. If you can make a choice

make it this lovely, friendly hospital. You won't regret it!

Such friendly professional staff what ever departments they work in, from the cleaners to Nurses and Doctors, catering staff and kitchen workers.

Lovely hospital, and all the staff are fantastic. Been in for neck fusion C6 and C7. In on Fri morning out Saturday lunchtime. Was kept informed every step of the way, well done everyone.

Just got out after my ankle operation with an additional nights stay, and what amazing staff. Nothing is to much for anyone. Food was also amazing. Nothing but positive from start to finish!

In for total hip replacement Monday afternoon out 2 days later. Absolutley brilliant from start to finish. Nicest hostpital staff ever. Consultant, aneatheteste, physios cannot compliment them highly enough. Cleaning staff, catering just everything, not the kind of operation you want to repeat but if the other one has to be done then I know where to come with confidence! They have looked after me and helped greatly on my road to recovery.

I've just had spinal I decompression surgery yesterday I'm now home in Carlisle

All I need to say is excellence a at the very highest level.

The consultant Mr Austin his team the anesthetist all nursing staff were very professional,polite,and very courteous.

They acted as you were one of their family & as you would expect from a high ranking hospital like Ramsey.

I would recommend this hospital to all my family n friends. 5*

I have been under Ramsey's care On three occasions and I've never had cause to worry about anything as all is explained every step of the way and you know your in good hands and feel they do their very best to deliver healthcare at the very highest available

I had a eperdural injection yesterday with Dr Austin, amazing consultant ! he had previously carried out an mocrodisectomy last Aug and has continued to treat me on what hopefully will be a successful journey to being pain free .

The support and care has been second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hospital and it's staff !!!

I came in for procedure has a day patient and the staff and nurses were amazing . Made me feel so at ease as I was a little nervous. Had a private room and own bathroom.very clean . Can’t fault anything . A big massive thankyou

I am the patient from hell but i can't praise Fulwood Hall high enough. They cater for your needs as an individual. I had a total knee replacement under Mr Boden. Everyone Mr Boden, the Anaesthetist, my dedicated nurse, the physio team, the night staff, caterers can't be praised highly enough. I stressed i needed to be home as soon as possible and I was given every encouragement to meet the criteria for discharge and was home the following day. I would not hesitate to recommend them. 10 out of 10. Thank you so much for making my stay as stress free as possible.

Having just had a hip replacement, can't thank fulwood hall for all the best care I received, the food is first class the nurses and surgeon fantastic, feel like I've been on holiday

Had a gall bladder op there on 24/3/18, under the lovely consultant Dr Pursnani. All staff were fabulous from start to finish. Professional, caring and really listened to my concerns and put me at ease. Should have been a day case but due to a couple of minor issues (nothing to do with the surgery, which went really well), I ended up staying over night. The rooms are spacious clean and quiet at night, so you do manage to get some rest. The food is AMAZING and sooo tasty. Nothing was too much trouble. Discharge was smooth and everything explained to me very clearly. Can’t thank everyone involved in my care enough and would highly recommend �

Fulwood Hall Hospital is fantastic the staff and Drs are always polite and friendly nothing is to much for them. The hospital is lovely and clean and to be honest doesn't smell like a hospital.

Excellent patient care from reception to nurses doctors and consultants for my leg operation. I stayed in overnight and every single hour was reassured day and night shift.The catering and service all with a smile and politeness.l was so nervous as a single 60 year old and at home now so happy and loved my stay.thank you all Kathleen Branford.

Brilliant I was in and out for my operation within a few hours. All the staff are fantastic I was so nervous but they put my mind at ease by cracking a few jokes and having a laugh. So really nice and caring. �

A lovely environment. Very comfortable and a pleasure to go to. The receptionist Katherine is amazing. Run off her feet but was able to remain calm and polite with all the patients and relatives. She seemed to have such a lot to do! An asset to Fulwood Hall hospital.

A great place to stay when you need surgery. The medical profession is really geared up to give you the special care and support you need at this time. I have been a patient 3 times and each time I have been treated so well by everyone. I would recommend Fulwood Hall to all my family and friends and would give it 10 out of 10 excellent!

A big Thank you to Consultant Mr Cope and all the Staff, for looking after me so well on 20th June 2017. I had a Steroid injection into the hip. For the first time in over a year, I am now pain free!

The care was First Class!
