I love Funkidories ♡ I visited yesterday with my God-Daughter after picking her up from school. The staff are amazing and friendly and the play frame is fabulous for children and adults!! We had a brilliant time climbing through all the small spaces and whizzing down the slides ♡ thank you for providing a fun and safe place for children to play freely - we will be back ♡ p.s your rocky road cake is out of this world ♡

Favourite play centre to come to in the area. Wonderful staff always with smiles on their faces. Really good range of adults and children’s food on the menus. Brilliant that You can always see the children from anywhere you sit in the centre. Funkidories is amazing!! �

My son had a party at the weekend, me and his daddy were very happy with the service. The party was great, tidy & clean. The buffet was amazing for the children. The children even had jelly and icecream. The party bags were great value. The party host was great. Most of all my little boy, had an amazing birthday party. I would recommend to my friends to have there child's party's with you :) x

My son and his friend had so much fun. Only downside is the slide. It needs to be sorted as kids get stuck going down. The saff are friendly and tables cleaned all the time.

Kids love it but it needs air con !!! Far to hot in here on summer days ...melting !

Had a party for my son today. Overall it went very well despite it being very busy, the party host kept me informed of the delay to food and when to expect it, giving us some extra time in the party room to make up for the delay.

They dealt with a mix up of some kids from another party room coming into ours and getting meals meant for our party very well and quickly brought out fresh meals for the ones that ended up half eaten.

Overall I would recommend it to a friend. Thanks for hosting a fun party.

Visited today with our 2 year old. Was disappointed. Entrance was £7.50 and compared to other soft plays we have visited I felt this was a little on the expensive side for what was there. The seating area was so very hot for the adults! Not comfortable at all.





The tables and floors were filthy and the staff were constantly stood chatting in the cafe area and not doing anything. We spent an hour and a half there and in that time the table next to us completely covered in peas and the floor scattered with food remained untouched whilst 6 of the teenage staff stood nattering by the coffee machine.



However the baby changing area was very clean and spacious.

The under 4 area needs some sort of system to stop older children going in there as parents don’t seem to take much notice. We go once a month and are always telling older children they are not meant to be in there. I’m sure one day a smaller child will be hurt by one of these older kids running riot and who is responsible for that? I have read on here that there should be wristbands issued but we’ve never seen them. Needs sorting ASAP.

Staff rude and make you feel uncomfortable. Today the woman was constantly on her phone behind the counter. Toddler mornings are not worth the money, food isn’t very nice so ended up in Asda cafe. Saw a post on fb for bogof play and eat to be told it’s after school hours. There was no time restrictions on the post be when I went to check itvhad been edited. Seen a another review saying the same so I definitely know it wasn’t just me! Can’t say I’d return in a hurry

I like the fact you can see everywhere from where youre sitting. I like the fact it doesnt smell like dirty nappy when you walked through the door!



Unfortunately i always find service quite slow regardless of day or time.



10 minutes spent standing in reception to enter and there was no queue.



After queing for 20 minutes (which i didnt mind as i could see only 2 staff members behind till) i then ordered my food and coffee. I stood for 15 minutes waiting for my coffee. Again wouldnt of mattered except other customers were getting theirs! I spent 5 minutes trying to get the attention of the girl on the till and she quite obviously ignored me. It wasnt until who i believe to be a manager went on the till i got listened too. I ordered a caramel macchiato that then tasted absolutely disgusting and i got refunded.



I then ordered ice cream. The girl that served me had the longest hair you have ever seen and it wasnt tied back and was flying everywhere. She then put the ice-cream on the counter and smiled at me whilst picking one of her hairs out of the icecream i had paid for and then handed it to me! �



If the guy i believed to be the manager wasnt so apologetic about my coffee and polite i wouldnt even give it a 3!

went today with 2 friends, after getting told the stay and eat wasn't til after 3pm which was not stated on the Facebook status 3 days ago and was later changed! we felt very uncomfortable and felt like we were being watched! also for £5 and all you get is a biscuit and a little drink and the kids play, it's not really worth the money! one staff member was very rude and spent alot of time on her phone!

visited today for the dinki's xmas brunch. Very disappointed in how unorganised it was, there was no salt dough decorating or grotto visit. The 'home-cooked' hopscotch lunch was a cold plate of macaroni cheese that no-one ate, and it was exactly the same meal as the pasta ordered off of the normal kids menu. None of the staff seemed to know why or offer any alternatives. Left with 3 hungry disappointed children. :(

Visited Funkydories today and was very disappointed.



I understand that you charge for the adults, but when there is nowhere to sit and you are still letting people in, I think it is disgusting. You really don’t care about the parents at all and we are the ones who are going to spend more money in the cafe buying food and drink. I think you really need to think about your seating, get rid of some of your sofas and put some more tables and chairs in.



We were told to go upstairs where the party rooms are and I think this is a bit off for the people who are paying for their children’s parties.



Anyway I certainly won’t be visiting again.

This place has gone right down hill the way staff speak to customers is a disgrace. Dont waste your time or money in here people

Pretty disappointed � order a child’s waffle - lady cooks an adult waffle by mistake, she then realises mistake, waits for it to cook then scrapes it out and throws it away (why throw it away?!) , then gets more waffle mix and I have to wait again for a child’s waffle to be cooked -.- got kids food but no drinks until they had nearly finished eating after I had been stood at the till area waiting for them and being ignored... also ordered a latte - waited 15 mins and asked 3 different memebers of staff about it only to be told the machine might be broken by the 3rd person... then as we are eating and drinking, we are being disturbed “ are you finished with this?” It was only half drunk -.- then later on, kids leave some chips to come back to..” are you finished with this?!” No again we are not finished -.- I know it’s half term and busy but something is seriously wrong here! Not a happy customer.

Normally love this place but disappointed today. It was filthy. When we asked someone to clean our table she looked disgusted to have to wipe it. Food all over the floor and tables covered in used crockery. Also charging £2.95 for over 5 month babies who are non mobile, so cost us £11.00 for our 5 year old to play for an hour x

My partner and 2 girls went to funkidories today as we do alot, 1 being 18 months and the other 10 years old. The oldest only wanting to help my partner with her baby sister to then be told by a very arrogant and rude member of staff (after only 10 mins of paying the entrance fee) that she should be sat on her own while my partner accompanied the baby for a couple of hours. I think this is disgusting and suggesting a 10 year old should be sat unsupervised for the time they were there is damn right ridiculous. The staff at funkidories have a duty of care to look after all in their premises and they have completely failed this.

Busy time but no excuse not to to clear tables and floor. Knives laying around and rubbish! I had to clear our table and ask someone to clean it. Then..... I found a hair in the small sausages I got my children after I was chewing on it! Short and dark! We are all blonde! Staff are clearly under alot of pressure and you can see it in how unhappy they look. Drove 15 miles to take my kids somewhere different. Entry and food totalled £40! What a waste. Even the kids want to go home and we have been here half an hour! Just cleared our table myself!

Attended with my three children and a friend today for the Dinki Xmas Brunch. There was no salt dough decorating or grotto visit. We ordered two hopscotch lunches and one kids menu meals. Three dishes of the same cold pasta and over seasoned garlic bread arrived to the table. The children barely touched the food. Complained to the lady at the counter and got an apology but not offered any alternative so left with hungry children. Not impressed and won't be returning in a hurry. Also I put my baby in one of the baby activity chairs and it was filthy.
