I’m looking for someone who can work part time initially with a view to building up to full time if they wish as new customers come on board.

When a big dog walks past the salon! 😮😂❤️

OK, there are 10 doggie points on offer to those of you who can correctly identify what breed this little beauty belongs to (answer at the end - don't peek!)
Her name is Barley and she came into the dog grooming school the other day for a general tidy up. This was the first time I had groomed this particular breed and I was struck by Barleys’ amazing eyes. So expressive and such a lovely colour.
Barley was the model dog although she wasn’t that keen on the bath and drying asp...ect of the groom! Even so, she managed to maintain a very regal pose throughout.
And the breed? An Irish Water Spaniel.

Every day every Salon has a smile. 😁
I was at a dog grooming school earlier this week and had this happy little chap come in. Oscar the Bichon was in for an all round general tidy up and a bit of styling. He was smiling at the start.
... Oscars’ owners were wanting a full rounded Bichon head. From the front, the head shape should be a full circle and the ears should disappear into the head fur. One of the pictures shows a full Bichon round head.
Oscar's fur wasn’t at the stage to do this kind of cut but we have started to shape it and as it grows it can be shaped and styled further.
Oscar didn’t care about any of this. All he wanted was a bit of fuss and attention. We must have done okay as he was still smiling at the end.
