PLEASE...we ask time and time again to please not leave litter here at Furnace Mill, both around the pools and up on the rifle range. Littering is not only ugly to look at but also harmful to the environment.
We care about the wildlife and the enjoyment you have here so please respect the beautiful environment that we live in. If you bring or buy items please dispose of them properly. Thank you in advance.

Rose Bowl Round 6 – 30/06/2019
Today we used the Furnace Coppice Course. The sun shone all day today – what a change! As usual a cheeky breeze tested everyone’s expertise.
Top score with an excellent 57 (PB) was Dariusz Moszczynski who finished 3 points clear of his nearest rivals.
... Many thanks to Geoff Jones, Mik Monaghan and Phil Tombs for helping to set the course and Geoff and Rick for getting here early to help Ed put the strings out. Thanks to Geoff for booking everyone in as usual and many thanks to those who helped to get the strings back in at the end, your help is very much appreciated.
Another good turnout, thank you for your support and we hope you enjoyed the course.
Bonus bunny was won by club shooter Gary Baker, not bad for your first competition!

Today we used the Lower Budgeons Wood Course for round 5 of the Rose Bowl 2019. Although not overly sunny it was certainly warm with a gentle ‘jerky’ breeze to keep everyone on their toes.

Thanks to Geoff for booking everyone in as usual and many thanks to those who helped to get the strings back in at the end, your help is very much... appreciated. Rose Bowl Round 4 – 27/04/2019
This year the Rose Bowl competition will be held on SUNDAYS as in previous years, with the exception of 3 rounds due to clashes with other National Competitions.
The Enchanted Wood course was the venue for Round 4 today. Didn’t need the fairies playing with the flight of the pellets today the incredibly strong blasts of wind did that! Thankfully the rain held off but the sun didn’t shine too much.
... Many thanks to Geoff, Mik and Ryan for helping to set the course and Geoff and Ryan for getting here early to help Ed put the strings out. Once again Geoff was responsible for booking everyone in – what would we do without him? Thank you Geoff! Many thanks to those who helped to get the strings back in at the end, your help is very much appreciated.
Great to see another good turn out, we hope you enjoyed the course. Well done to Jason Bressington with the top score of 53 and Phil White for winning the bonus bunny.
