Join us on our Puppy Education Evening (with real live puppies!!)
This fact filled event is an opportunity to come and learn first-hand about:
-How to choose the right pup for you... -Ethical breeding and how to find a good breeder -Preparing for your Puppy -Puppy rearing with Puppy Culture protocols, including Early Neurological Stimulation -Socialisation vs. Flooding -Setting your puppy up to love training -Much, much more
There will be cuteness overload in the form of a litter of eight 6-week-old Australian Kelpies at the event, and you will be learning first hand from their Puppy Culture breeder, Billie Harding, and qualified dog trainer, Ellie Turner, about how the pups are being raised to be social, confident and problem-solving working, sport and pet dogs.
As well hearing from Ellie & Billie, there will be opportunities to directly interact with the puppies, and attendees are encouraged to get involved and ask questions.
The event is perfect for prospective puppy buyers, new puppy owners, and anyone else who wants to learn more about puppies and their development.
Please note that unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 at this event and we ask that you leave your own dogs at home!
The evening is priced at Β£10 per person; the booking system will allow you to book for yourself and any partners/friends/family members who also want to come along.

Hi guys, due to the new Facebook algorithms and the huge success of our closed client group, this public page has been a bit neglected in recent months! Now there is so much to talk about with Billie's puppy culture litter and my very own pup, I think it's time it had a new lease of life! So if you can see this post please comment below just to say "hi" or maybe post a picture of your dog; that way you will keep seeing Furry Frolics posts and won't miss out on any puppy cuteness! Thanks, Ellie xx

PLEASE NOTE, THE LOOSE LEAD WORKSHOP HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED, HOWEVER THE RECALL WORKSHOP WILL STILL BE GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED!! ONLY 2 SPACES LEFT!
Following the huge success of our January double workshop, Furry Frolics once again brings you two action-packed workshops in one day!
... You can either buy a ticket to just the Recall Workshop, or just the Loose Lead Workshop, or alternatively come and hang out with us all day and get a 10% discount while sorting out both training problems once and for all. Cake will obviously be provided at lunchtime for those of you who stay for both workshops!
10.30 - 12.30: Recall Workshop: Is your dog's recall non-existent, or do they come back most of the time but only if there's no distractions? If so, this 2 hour focused workshop is for you and your pooch! We will use fun games and relationship building exercises to teach your dog that YOU are the centre of their world.
13.00 - 15:00: Loose Lead Workshop: Does your dog pull on the lead, leaving you feeling achy and with a lack of control? If so, this one is for you! We will use engagement exercises to teach your dog that it pays to walk nicely by your side, and you will learn new lead skills too!
Both workshops will take place at the indoor arena at Avon Riding Centre so the distraction level is much higher than a hall but you will still be sheltered from the elements- a perfect combination for this type of training. At both workshops you will have the opportunity to troubleshoot the recall or loose lead problems YOU have with your dog.
As always, all methods used are ethical and science-based, and there is always an emphasis on fun. We train in an informal and encouraging environment and no harsh handling of dogs (or humans!) will be allowed.
Come along, have a laugh, and improve your dog's behaviour on and off the lead!
PLEASE NOTE: tickets can be booked through the "Book Online" section of the website. Please look out for the double booking option if you want to book both workshops, otherwise you won't get your discount!

MASSIVE Congratulations to Alannah and her beagle Lola and young handler Maisie and her cocker Roe who both passed their IMDT Partnership Grade 1 tonight. Very proud of all of them for their hard work and great sense of fun too! Onwards to Grade 2 😁😁😁

User

We have just finished our training classes. Ellie is amazing, Bella was so timid when we first went and by the end of the 6 weeks she couldn't get through the door quick enough. Thank you Ellie, hopefully see you soon for some trick classes. Kim and Bella x

User

We have been going to ellies click and tricks class for some time know. We started going for archie to socialise with other dogs cause he was always unsure with other dogs we have all learnt so much from her and had so much advise as well, any little worries i might have there is always a solution she can advise us with we have even done some outdoor classes to help with recall training for him and with her help had him off the lead with a very good recall. We love this lady and will continue with our classes she is the best οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½

We booked Ellie's Puppy Deluxe Training Package for our Boarder Collie puppy Willow and I can't recommend it highly enough! The group sessions were great for all the basics and essentials, in addition to being brilliant for early socialisation. The one to one sessions have also been really useful in helping us with any specific training needs over time. Ellie is a fantastic trainer and we trust her implicitly with Willlow who gets really excited when she visits. To anyone getting a puppy, this package is fantastic value for money and will set you on the right path in doggy parenthood!

User

Very professional, well priced and fantastic service. Lottie can't wait until her next super-walkies

User

Tonight we graduated from puppy class, looking forward to the next class in May and making some more new doggy friends and of course seeing Ellie and her glamorous assistant.

User

There's no one I would trust more with our pooch :)

User

The best person who is great with animals! Definitely worth a five star rating

User

Our dog tilly attends puppy classes it's brill and fun meeting other puppy owners. Although she is a nervous dog and barks alot she has improved with Just Two lessons

She sits she lays down and now stand when asked good job Ellie.

User

One of the best puppy classes i have been to ellie does a great job on explaining about body language and has a great way of training people lol

User

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Ellie for all of your help with our chihuahuas Princess and Rocky. After our 5 weeks of training they are showing big improvements with house training, barking at other dogs and pulling on their leads. Thanks again Ellie you are a star xx

User

I started off attending a recall workshop and was so impressed with Ellie's training approach I attended the next loose lead workshop and am now going training every week with her even though I live outside of Bristol. Ellie really knows what she's doing and uses modern force-free methods and makes training fun for both dog and owner.

User

I have recently used furry frolics pet service, and have to say Ellie was amazing! She was very professional and made me feel at ease about leaving my 3 dogs and chickens in her care for 5 days. I had photo updates of my dogs whilst we were away and came home to a nice clean house and 3 happy dogs. I would definatley use this service again and would highly recommend.

Thanks Ellie x

User

Fantastic service! Friendly, completely trustworthy and always reliable with both of our dogs - they never want Ellie to leave!

User

Ellie's puppy classes and the tricks and clicks classes are brilliant. She's helped turn our terrified little pup into a more confident, happy woofster. Ellie's really lovely and we love her fun and force free techniques. Great training for humans and dogs!

User

Ellie is a complete professional and has been fabulous from the word go. Both our dogs adore her and she is especially brilliant with the one who is fearful of humans. She always gives us feedback so we can monitor his improvements and make adjustments where needed which is really helpful. She is happy to work with us and take things at his pace. We really would be lost without her.

User

Couldn't think of anyone better to look after the dogs of Bristol!

User

Cannot recommend Ellie enough. She's very professional and completely trustworthy. Our dog Rolo loves her...forgets we exist when Ellie arrives for their weekly walks! We'd be lost without Furry Frolics.

User

Being first time owner of a very lively lurcher cross puppy we attended the puppy training class. Ellie and her team are fantastic great training really good advice and are always there for advice outside the classes. Blue loved every minute of it I highly recommend the class.

User

As someone who has dog walked with Ellie on a number of occassions I can highly recommend her. She is spot on will a great mix of control, authority and praise. Lady Clem loves her and I would have to go a long way to find someone I would trust more to look after her.
