Furze Hill Farm Caravan And Campsite Description
We are a Certified Site with the Camping & Caravanning Club and have 5 pitches for caravans and 10 pitches for tents. There is electricity on 7 of the pitches if required.
All the usual facilities expected of a Certified Site are here, CDP, rubbish disposal, water, electricity plus new showers and toilets.
This is a family and pet friendly site in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds but only a drive /bus ride from Lincoln, Skegness, Spilsby, Louth, Horncastle, Woodhall Spa etc, etc. A great base for visiting all the local sights, walking etc.
On the farm and surrounding the site we have ponies, some rather fat old male sheep (tups or rams), chickens, a very nosy border collie, cat and a multitude of wild life including pheasants, rabbits, foxes, badgers to name but a few!
Furze Hill House Farm Campsite is situated within the village of Hagworthingham, just off the A158. If you don't fancy cooking for yourselves; there's the George & Dragon Pub, Rachel's Cafe and JJ's Cafe in the village which are all very popular with locals and visitors. Also take time to visit the Second Hand Shop and browse the array of items on display and take a bargain back with you! Julia's Poultry Barn in the village is a 'must see' for those either with children or a fascination for small animals - you can also buy some interesting and amusing gifts there.
Non members of the Caravan and Camping Club are welcome and can join on site.
