So, today myself and Steve a R & M dual battery Delite Mtb customer rode around Cornwall. We climbed a total of 7956 ft, averaged just under 12 mph,took in some great views, a bit of sunshine and a few pub stops and the battery was stating 36 miles left when we got back ! On Sunday the 17th June myself together with some friends and two of my daughters completed the 54 mile London to Brighton charity cycle ride. It is fair to say that the vast majority of cyclists were not on electric bikes, a lot of whom we passed whilst they were pushing their bikes up the many hills. The smile of mine when crossing the finishing line is a great example of the 'E-bike' smile . Did I feel like I had exercised ? yes. Did I enjoy the ride ? yes. Am i pleased that we raised over £300 for the British heart foundation ? yes ! Was I bothered that some walking up the hills clad in their lycra called me a cheat ? Not a bit !
